  • Love it. G

  • Awesome. I'm not in a wheelchair, but I am looking to get upper body strength via cycling. Any ideas?

  • I bought the 7 speed a little more then year ago and for me it works great. No question it doesn't do great on hills, but I found I can back up the hill using my chair wheels. Plus side: Its faster for me then pushing, lots of bike paths are level, uses different muscles; no transfers, fits easily in car trunk, disconnects quickly for going in store, coffee place, and restrooms. One wish is that there was a way to lock wheel straight when backing up.

  • Hi Guys - just to say well done on excellent design, I have stopped the front wheel spinning by buying a small chair with small front castors that go off the ground. I like it because it is the only handbike i can go in and out of my flat alone with. I also ride a racing handcycle round the local park. Yours has the advantage that it is small.

  • Hi Mushroomjesus,

Thank you for your honest comments. Yes our attachable handcycle is much more recreation oriented then, race oriented.

Our goal was to design a high quality, entry-level attachable handcycle that was both price friendly, and convenient to use.

I like to call the Dragonfly Handcycle, "A Gateway to Handcycling."

So many times we get calls from users that always wanted to try hancycling but didn't want to shell out for the big price tag.

    Enjoy your new handcycle!

  • @starkneked: Maybe you don't like it, but lots of other people do...instead of whining and complaining, why don't you sell it to someone else....make some of your money back and give someone else the chance to use the handcycle

  • I just got the chair, made a youtube video with it--I got the 7 speed but even on a gradual incline the front tire spins off--it's good for cardio, but not a means of reliable transportation.
