  • Chuck sang mostly country ballads when he perfomed at the G.I. club in Siux City Iowa.He had another singer named Gene Bland that sang most of the novelty songs,Chuck had a very soothing voice that is not apparent in the Pig Pen Boogie & other novelty songs

  • In he early fifties Chuck performed at the G.I. Club in Sioux City Iowa.He fronted a band called The Kansas Citians.I was the head bartender,We had an option to keep him after a two week booking & kept him for over a year and a whle after that we had him back for another long stay

  • Nice song. Pigs, wonderful animals. There are not enough songs about pigs.

The tune is identical to Pee Wee King's 'Mop Rag Boogie.
