Cheers for the Playbox videos. I was born in 1996, but I had a video of it that we picked up from a school fete or something of the like. I always remember it because it was supposed to come with a colouring play mat, and I was forever looking for it as it looked so cool on the video case! I was thinking about it the other day and couldn't remember what the show was called, and then I stumbled across this and found it again - thank you for putting my mind at rest!
Hiya I was wondering do you remember a Playbox episode with the Pet Shop and then I forgotten what it was about but I did have it on video years ago it was when some people went too the pet shop and then they saw a parrot and then that person went goodbye and the parrot said goodbye in fact that was a great episode have you got that episode and anymore episodes off Playbox then as these are great memorable moments too watch on you tube very fantastic episodes i tell you they are really cool
@britgirl19 Yes it was in about the year off 1990 if I remember correctly it was shown on a monday lunchtime up until September 1990 so it was shown at the very start off the year in January 1990 all the way up until late August 1990 so it was always shown on a Monday lunchtime until it was September and then it was not shown on Monday lunchtimes after that as Rosie And Jim was shown on that day on Monday lunchtimes and that was what they showed on a lunchtime on a Monday when Playbox stopped
oh my god this was my favourite show when i was little. dont think it was on very often cos i remember being so excited whenever i saw it was on. never thought id see it again
I remember the part of the programme where they played a "film" through a TV set that Cat switched on. One was about playing in the bath and featured a child with no clothes on! That would not happen today under the strict broadcasting laws we now have...
To rimmersgirl81: Perhaps you should eat fruit rather than allsorts than you wouldn't have been ill!
The moment I saw these videos and remembered Playbox...the very same "I bet they wouldn't be able to show that bath bit anymore" thought went through my mind.
I remember it! I had it on a video with Bill&Ben, Andy Pandy and Tots TV! Thanks for posting :)
