I think that Vista and MasterCard have a lot of governments backing them up. If you look at how they backed up Ford GMC and Toyota when they went through hard times. The U.S. governments have pretty deep pocket and they will protect those that they think are important assets.

Gold has been used as money long before any system existed. The reason gold is going up in price now is simply due to the fact people use gold as an item instead of using it as a currency. If gold is being used as money its value remains the same and the banks can not add or take away interest to it. This is why the banks removed the gold from being used as money because they could not profit.

@Judy101101 The reality of what they are is too scary for them to accept, they do not like to look into the mirror of truth, only if it suits them, truth should never be cherry picked to validate ones self or gain riches from, that is manipulation of the worst kind. Opinion can never take precedent over truth and is no more valid than the next persons opinion. If it is it is perpetuating the concept that thought is a crime.
