@dobbo101 World Violation by a mile. Everything about the Kaleid intro is perfect, I was in London in 1990 watching it and it still sends shivers down my spine to this day. DM was the nuts around this time, the best band ever. And yes, they should bring those bloody curtains back!

I still love this band very much for too many reasons to say. However, I think it would not hurt to have more synth playing still. That is why so many came on board with them. They did synth music better than anyone here. They should have stayed true to their roots. I do like the guitar and drums, but they seem to need more synth or electronica blended in with them. Just my opinion. I am looking forward to seeing them August 25, 27th. I am so excited about "Fly on a Windscreen" being resurrected

His singing technique improved a lot since those times... but the power in his voice partly faded. It`s not as if he sang a lot better here. He was just younger.. (But he`s a much better performer now... that`s for sure :) )

I agree with you here. Dave is a much better performer now than back in the day. In my own opinion, his voice was probably the best from about the singles tour through the p.t.a.t. He does have more vocal power (after this clip) and control now, but I think all the cigarette smoking and his age a beginning to show a bit. However, I would give anything to look that good at 47. lol
