  • and hereeeeeeeeeeee comessssssss theeeeeeeee: The Bid'ah brigade.... spamming YouTube video's with their learned views. thank you so much dark light for giving us some fantastic analysis, ie taking everything out of context... Maybe, (Just maybe) if you didn't take things literally you could be considered 'open minded.' Perhaps. You seem a few sandwiches short of a picnic (don't take that literally)

  • lol at the amount of internet scholars.

  • ma'shallah may allah swt bless and perserve him

  • be open, try to accept others' opinion. it doesn't mean you don't like it, and you say it is bidaah, shirk or what-so-ever called, it doesn't mean you have the right to get mad to other people~~~~ *sigh* respect the differences, don't easily be upset. the inability to accept the variation among us, and close-minded to theirs only is the main reason why Musleem nowadays are hating each other. they are unable to respect others....

  • even if scholars said it is shirk, does it ever made to fatwa? no isn't it?

  • well, qasidah burdah was made to praise Rasulullah by the sahabats, to show how much they loved Muhammad The Messenger. It is not the thing that they do be shirk to Allah. Have you heard the word, "If you love Allah, then love His Messenger?" so that the thing is. it is not about worshiping other than Allah,.. derrrr~~~

  • その意味深いBurdahが誰でも通じられるようになる日本語訳だ。

    Mashallah、

  • Mashallah!

  • the Nasheed is very nice but he needs to replace that line with Allah and not the Prophet Muhammed PBUH. because he is giving an atribute that belongs to allah to man even if it's the prophet. you are not alowed to give allahs atrabutes to man that is called shirk and you can end up in the hell fire because of it.

  • praise of the beloved S...animates all of creation

  • مولاي صلي وسلم دائماً أبداً على حبيبك خير الخلق كلهم

O Allah send my prayer always to your love the best of creatures all

Mohammad is the master of ( الكونين ) life and hereafter and ( الثقلين ) jinn and human, and the two teams ( Arabs and non-arabs)

he is the beloved whom his intercession is needed, for each disaster as it comes

O Allah please allow us to reach our goals, and forgive our past. O Allah, the Most Generous

    Allah's messenger, Allah's beloved, Allah's best creature

  • Yet again, Muslims objectify and exoticize other Muslims not by celebrating the diversity but having programs tailored so that the "other's" culture becomes an object of gawking. Pathetic. Allahul musta'an. Can't they just leave things as is?

  • subhanAllah..what a nice song..

  • I'm an open minded person, but I fail to see from any angle how that line is not shirk.

    I rest my case.

  • Does it sound nice? Yes.

Are the meanings acceptable? Not at all.

Take the line: "O noblest of creation, I have no one but you to turn to except you when major calamity strikes."

    Ermm...isn't somebody forgetting Allah here?

  • @darklight254 lol i love this, what are you talking about, yoru prob dont understand what he is saying. very meaningful idk what your talking about.

  • @darklight254

If you take everything out of context, then you can understand the sentences wrong.

For example: If I say: 'Thanks to this medicine, I am now healthy.'

If you take my sentence out of context, someone may say: ermm, aren't you forgetting Allah here?

In this world, Allah has made Sabab for certain things. That's why this world is also called: 'Aalimul Asbaab.

  • @hytata

In fact this statement is not taken out of context. The poem is ingrained with statements like these, giving the creation characteristic of Allah.

The poem makes an oath by the moon. As we know, giving an oath by other than Allah is again minor shirk. I can give more and more examples of these kinds of statements in the poem, but the above two are really enough for anyone who is sincere.

  • @darklight254

We all know that Allah is the real protector. If I say:in times of calamity, I have no one but to turn to my father. All muslims believe that Allah, the exalted, is the real protector. And still, no one will accuse me of shirk

We say that Sayyiduna Isa (عليه السلام) cured the blind people. But we all know that Allah cured them. And still, we muslims say this isn't shirk. Why? Because it's a figure of speech. In the Arabic language this figure of speech is called: majaz Aqli

  • @darklight254

If you want to understand the Qasidah Al Burdah, you must have full knowledge of the Arabic language. You can't blindly follow the English translation, because the Arabic language is not the same as the English language. The Arabic language for example, has a lot of figure of speech that the English language don't have. And if you translate the figure of speech of the Arabic language to English, one can understand the sentence wrong.

  • @hytata

It is the Arabic speaking scholars who have spoken against it! Even some of the speakers at the same conference (eg Yasir Qadhi) have spoken specifically against this poem.

    Assalamu alaykum.

  • @darklight254 i cant say ive ever heard that line, where'd u hear that??

  • @darklight254 also, if that line is in there, then yea its shirk, but ive never heard it in any ive come across... definitely not in mohamed al hasayans one

  • @darklight254 The meaning is not what you may be thinking (it's referring to the intercession that Allah Subhana wa Taala will grant Rasulullah Sallah Allahu wa Salam on the Day of Judgement).

  • song of the samurai...

  • mashallah!

  • Masha'Allah !!! BEAUTIFUL !

  • If poem has shirk then I dont expect ICNA to upload it.

  • @tamim980 stop trolling

  • Mashallah, I was there when he sang this nasheed at the ICNA Conference Convention. In fact, I was seated in the seat right behind him & was able to speak to him after he finished singing this nasheed. He told me that attended a University in Damascus, Syria & studied Islam & graduated from there. Mashallah!

  • @ARHassan15

is exactly the contrary, is the people that have forget from where they come from and to who they are belonging.

He gave us the free-will, that is the decision to follow him or not, so for which reason He has to protect you if you forget about him? People complain when they drop in troubles, but is their free-choice to follow un-sense rules. He give you at any time SIGNS for you to have a better and safe life, but you are not able to recognize those because you are following yourEGO

  • @ARHassan15 was the background nasheed also there or is it just added in the video

  • outstanding!

  • bidah bidah bidah.cnt blive sheikh yasir qadhi, sheikh nouman ali, imam siraj wahaj, qasida burda

  • @tamim980

What's bidah about singing nasheed, without any instrument?

  • @tosikuai salamualikum, its not bidah singing nasheed without insteument,im tallking about qasida burda, qasida burda has major shirk in it,and scholars like sheikh bin baz, sheikh salih al fawzan, sheikh al albani, and others spokn about it,

  • @tamim980

There are only two lines of it that have some controversy and its not shirk, some claim that it is over praising the prophet. But just because one sheikh says something does not make it law.

  • Rasulullah didn't mention in the hadith nor the quran qasidah is shirk ! Only scholars from wahabis said it !

  • @tamim980 My friend, Shakh bin baz also stated back in the 80's that the earth was flat and that anyone who said other wise is a kafir. Some of these shakhs are as ignorant as balaams donkey, so really need to double check the sources that you learn from.

  • @tamim980 tamim.....sweetheart......not every muslim's a selefi. only a small minorty. I dont doubt for a second that your part of that small, select, minority. Hence, you chatting nonsense. ur opinions and those of your imams (bin baz n company) dont apply so far as us non-selefi's are concerned.

    P.S. you = bidah :S

    P.S.S. Ya rasulallah (AS) meded.

  • beautiful recitation

  • Excellent!

  • Mashallah.. That was beautiful !!!

  • Alhamdulillah! Can someone please translate, very beautiful.
