  • Finally! A good video that does not have dislikes!

  • This is me and my boyfriend's song!!!!

  • A sorrow that Bing Crosby which such a beautiful voice were a bad , violent father according to his sons.

  • @metacosmos Actually, that was just one son out of his seven children. The other children all deny it. In fact , that son later recanted it. Three of Bing's children are still alive and remember him lovingly as a wonderful, attentive father. I just saw his son, Harry, and his daughter, Mary, at a performance by their mother (Bing's wife of 20 years) in NYC.

  • @themonaghans One is enough for me. Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Picasso,Yul Brinner had sons that wrote lousy on their parents after their death , and I believe them.

  • I'm 16 and i love this song :)

  • Köszönöm a feltöltést <:o)

  • This is one song that I wanted to play on the guitar. Unfortunately, I can't read music and the strings cut my fingers so it was difficult to play. This was back in the day of the acoustical guitar (non-electric). We had this song on a collection of Bing's hits called "Bing." It was autobiographical with him introducing each song. While the other kids were digging, I was hopelessly square and digging Bing. Still sound like him when I'm in the shower.

  • what happened to life.... :(

the beatles replaced by -lady gaga

les paul- replaced by justin beiber

billy joel- rebbeca black is soon going to take over billy joel

if u like the singers on theright hand side on those ^^^^ u should die

  • i hope he was still alive so we wont need singers like justin beiber

  • @devilzubin Bing Crosby will always have more popularity that today's stars have. Good grief, I think Crosby had over 300 top 40 hits during his lifetime.

  • un gran tributo para la musica

  • its a beautyful song im 20 years and

i fell shame for the stupid youngs

    who don't know this miusic

  • The voice is very soothing....

Makes me only wish I had lived then...

  • @sagarvk You probably wouldn't have really enjoyed it, it was towards the end of WW2, millions died, food was rationed in cities, there was misery...

  • My mom would sing this song to me as we waited for my uncles, cousins and friends to return home after the wars

  • a mi me dedicaron esta cancion porque me quieren JA que bonito es ser feliz

  • Definitely Django's influence at 1.33 and a few other places - but then it is impossible not to be influenced by the great Frenchman just as it is not to be influenced by Les who had such a mischievous touch. When I was a kid listening to radio and How High The Moon came on it was like I had been plugged directly into the mains! It made everything else sound old and tired and was, I thought to myself, music from another planet - or music for a new era - as indeed rock n roll subsequently was.

  • Just beautiful, and I'm kind of a metalhead. Gotta love Les...

  • The amazing and inimatable guitar pioneer Les Paul and the Les Paul Trio -- and some guy singing.

  • Les Paul lived a long time and will live forever with recordings like this to remind us of his talents. Bing Crosby keeps on giving too, thanks to him Pirates fans can relive great memories from a long time ago. And thanks to Nocaro for giving us this video, it too will be played for a long, long time.

  • Hot for words played by the coolest!; thats what they all say!

  • One of the best recordings of that or anytime. How lucky we are to have lived alongside Les.

  • Hey guys, you can find the LYRICS @ EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Frank+Sinatra&title=It%27s+Been+A+Long+Long+Time

  • Thank you so much for bringing this wonderful song back into my life, it's been 'a long long time' since I heard it, too long by far.

  • Jimmy Page admires this song.

  • I can't help but be brought to tears by this song because I can never separte the times in which it was introduced. I always imagine a returning soldier and the raw emotion he and his sweetheart must feel at their reunion when only shortly before neither knew if he would ever come home alive. Heck I'm virtually crying right now.

  • Nice montage of Bing and Les photos.

  • Django's influence on Les Paul is really evident on this track. The lick at 1:13 is pure Reinhardt.

  • I LOVE this. It's one of my favorite Bing songs. What a voice.

  • Great video.

  • It must have been awesome being Les Paul in his later years....being viewed as a living legend to guitar players throughout the world.
