@musicalala Aaahh the tricks of vinyl! Also good recording techniques. After 16 track analogue bit the dust, the quality of music recording took a nosedive. This is cos the extra width required of tape for 24 track made handling it impractical so they used 24 track at same overall tape width as 16. The individual tracks were narrower, couldn't handle enough signal and music on one track "bled" into another. As for digital - well! Nuff said!
wish i could hang out with you and listen to music.. i love your heart and mind .. you are a very special person and i appreciate your passion for music and your need to share it with others...
Mark your channel is wonderful. Thank you so much. This song is extraodinary, thanks for bringing our attention to it!
Could you talk about your Rega and setup and how you arrived at this particular setup or direct me to a place where you have discussed this? Would much so much appreciated.

@ThePhotoFashion Thanks, PhotoFash! I refer you to my Hi Fi 101 series. You can get to it if you visit my channel. Also if you google Pearcie's World, you can find my website, which has a little of my philosophy and ramblings.
Thanks Mikebtko - I love this song. Even though I only "discovered" Janis in the late 90's, Between the Lines has become very dear to me. I haven't forgotten about posting Lover's Lullaby here, but TBH its power lies in the fact that it is built up to by the rest of the album. It somehow loses something when played in isolation.
What a wonderful piece of music, it's extraordinary... I always thought it was a very under-rated song... i just think it's the masterpiece of Janis's career.. I think when smarter people come and inhabit the planet they'll appreciate such song craftsmenship....
Wow,you can tell the sound is amazing even thru a computer. Female voice is spectacular on your system! so musical.
