    the one he's using is light colored , but the one i bought was dark colored i don't get it , the whole wheat part , I'm finding difficulties with y healthy nutrition because of this please help ;(

  • @d0ughboy07 I used regular vegetable oil cooking spray from Publix. Anything like PAM will work.

  • Ok you had my attention until you started dumping the stuff (sodium loaded) from the can. otherwise this looks great.

  • @teamrockin I am sorry you feel that way. Some times I do use canned tomatoes and sauce but I buy organic and low-sodium varieties.

  • i have a huge struggle because here in portugal 1- we dont have the huge choice of healthy food (its dificult to find even brown rice)

    2- it´s 4 or more times more expencive and we are strugling

    3- my son hates vegetabels

    and my goal is to give my family the healthiest food.

  • I would at least focus on fruits and vegetables. Stay away form white sugar and white pastas and rice. Sorry I do not have a better answer for you.

    Whats the best way to measure food portions? for example 1 cup of pasta or so.

    1 cup of oats = 5 large spoons (i assume)

  • I just used Italian seasoning on this one and a little salt & Pepper to taste. It is in the oven for 20 minutes

  • Made this today, but replaced the mushrooms with red peppers. It was VERY good. This recipe feeds my family of 3 twice and then some, so its great to have for a leftovers meal. YAY!

  • i've been doing something really similar for years, only i don't use the tomato sauce...only the diced tomato and i add lots and lots of fresh diced garlic, a little more olive oil and also red pepper. TO DIE FOR! Very delicious! This way looks great too! Thanks!

  • that is the beauty of a dish like this you can change things around add different ingredients, it is all up to you.

    Just keep it all healthy.
