Whilst you're all saying about how Adell is roughly Laharl's power yet they have a huge age difference, I'd like you to remember that Laharl was put to sleep and poisoned, causing him to lose his previous power. He's been building his power again for about a year maybe? I don't know the timelines in-between games...

@NeedlessFTW Actually Adell is a natural born demon. Its why Zenon's curse didn't affect him. He was already a pure blooded demon. Spoiler, the two masked people are his parents, and they're both demons.

I'm pretty sure you can get the badass overlord title if you beat Zetta.

@Hayse1q1 Aww give Laharl some credit, he was starving to death by the time you properly beat him in the storyline, of course Adell would beat him then, Laharl was on his last legs, he even collapses from hunger straight after the fight. Mind you, no denying that Rozalin is probably the stronger of the two, but then again at least Laharl is able to think straight without hating everything in existance like Rozalin does when she's unbound.

In the levels that they appear, the most powerful overlord (From what I have seen in their appearances in the Disgaea series and excluding Tyrant Overlord Baal) would be Mao.

Laharl- Level 1200 (Disgaea 2 Shinra Tower appearance)

Adell- Level 2000 (Disgaea 1 appearance) (Yeah he's a human I know)

Etna- Level 1000 (Disgaea 2 appearance) (Yes she counts)

Zetta- Level 2000 (Disgaea 2 appearance)

Real Zenon- Level 1900

Mao- Level 3200 (Disgaea 2 DHD appearance)

Priere- Level 500 (Disgaea 2)

@Heyprinny Adell isn't a human, you kinda have to figure that out when his parents are found (from the players point of view). Being his parents are both demons, I do believe that qualifies Adell a demon as well. No I don't think he was adopted, and lets not forget the prism ranger's claim of him being a demon as well... Then again, they ARE the prism rangers Lol.

@Heyprinny Pretty cool how you took the time to figure that out and I love your name :). Although in my opinion, they should have put Laharl with a lv 9999 or at least 5000 because he is the king of the underworld and is the strongest of them all. Adell is also pretty strong because he defeated the king of the overlords so I would place him second. Mao is supposed to be just a overlord so in my opinion, he appears to be the weakest of the three. It's a little hard to decide who comes after that.

@TalesOfGod I'm not sure about that, I mean Adell got beaten badly by both Laharl and Etna and on top of that the final boss in Disgaea 2 was just fake Zenon so he just called himself god of all overlords. Mao was at least able to fight Laharl to a draw.

So, Mao is probably second place in the Disgaea universe....although if you think about it, Adell has a lot of potential because he is a demon so he will probably live a long time like Laharl and Mao (which are about 4000 years old each) but in the game, he is only 17 years old so just imagine when he grows to the age of Laharl and Mao. I`d say he is pretty powerful. Although the most powerful in the universe has to be the Real Zenon...then(End game) Zetta.

1): Laharl due to experience, skill, strength, and his many skills with all weapons and overall combat experience

2): Adell due ot his strength and skills in fist to fist combat allowing him to adjust and fight to just about any situation

3): Mao due to lack of experience in.... pretty much life itself if you look closely, spending 99% of his life playing video games xD

4): etna / flonne just cause the awesome
