@silverstorm848 It's actually sort of an optical illusion. The black Galaxy S2 has a black glass so whites displayed on the screen appear to be whiter than the white on the white Galaxy S2. This also applies to the White Galaxy S2 displaying blacks.

@silverstorm848 I have both the black and white Galaxy S2s, and they're pretty much the same phone with different colour. The black Galaxy S2 has a fingerprint resistant textured battery cover, black digitizer (of course), metallic black trim around the bezel and camera and it is 'Made in Vietnam by Samsung'. The white Galaxy S2 features a white non-textured battery cover which is more prone to fingerprints, a white digitizer, silver trim around the bezel and camera and is 'Made in China'.

@TNRScoPtyLtd Thanks for both replies. I have got the Black one now. I checked out the white version in the shop, but the white border seemed like it would distract me when I'm watching a movie or youtube, since you're alway aware of where the screen finishes, but with the black version, the SAMOLED display makes the blacks almost blend in with the surrounding face and it looks like the whole front is the display. In the dark, you're completely absorbed in the screen.

@silverstorm848 Glad I could help. Personally I find black on black to be cooler than black on white. White seems to be a more feminine colour to me. Maybe that's why females don't mind as much, because they don't acknowledge many of the technical aspects of smartphones.

Poi volevo chiederti se prendiamo un immagine con fondo nero e magari con al centro una figura bianca tipo la schermata di accensione,il nero é ugualr su entrambi? perché ho notato che la differenza c'é solo nel menu in basso,ma nelle impostazioni sembrava uguale

@Galaktus1993 è diverso su molti neri,te ne accorgi esempio sul web in siti che hanno il nero.Ma cmq non vuol dire nulla,ci saranno sgs2 bianchi che hanno la colorimetria sballata,come lo era per le versioni black.

Complimenti per il video, e comunque microfibra non é un errore, poiché i retro del gs2 non é tipo fibra di carbonio altrimenti dovrebbe essere liscio lucido e a quadretti,in effetti si avvicina più alla microfibra che in base al tipo di trattamento é identica al retro del galaxy s 2....

Ciao Ivan anche io ho un Gs2 white e ti volevo chiedere se il display nel tuo è ben centrato perchè nel mio non lo è, non è allineato bene e i bordini neri a margine del display hanno una larghezza diversa(quello sulla destra è più largo di quello di sinistra anche se di poco). Il display non ha altri difetti e ho timore che portandolo in assistenza per questa piccolezza magari invece di riassemblarlo bene me lo cambiano con uno difettoso. Che consiglio mi dai? Lo so sono malato ;)

Ciao ivan, senti, volevo una info che non riguarda questo video: ho visto il tuo videoconfronto dei display amoled, tra un no brand wind e un no brand uk. In entrambi i terminali, avevi installato una sorta di widget che mostrava le varie notizie dei maggiori quotidiani (compresa la piccola miniatura a corredo dell'articolo). Inoltre, c'era anche un particolare widget di youtube. Potresti dirmi il nome di queste 2 applicazioni, o in alternativa spiegarmi come abilitarle sul galaxy? Grazie.

io mi chiedo come possa samsung o youtube in generale permettere la pubblicazione di questi video che sono fatti male ed anche divulgatori di falso...IL SUPER AMOLED PLUS ha i neri migliori perchè spegne I PIXEL quindi pixel spento, nero assicurato, senza confronti...il grigio che fai notare nel bianco è grigio, non è nero, i pixel sono accesi, ciò significa che nelle impostazioni non hai settato bene il tipo di colore che vuoi...NON CAMBIANO ASSOLUTAMENTE I DISPLAY, INFORMATI PRIMA DI FILMARE

@antony85flat IO invece mi chiedo come youtube possa far commentare i bimbi minkia come te.Sul sgs2 sono stati montati tre display diversi ( Informati magari su forum come quello di XDA),sempre sap,ma con gradazioni cromatiche differenti.I pixel si spengono col nero assoluto,ma se il display è tarato con dominanze cromatiche per caratteristiche proprie (origine display) il nero non è nero.

hai evidenziato che i due telefoni hanno display con colori diversi.. però ti soffermi sul un menù(quello del pulsante in basso a sinistra) che non deve essere nero ma grigio... perciò in questo caso il problema ce lo avrebbe il telefono bianco visto che il grigio è molto più scuro...

inoltre li dovresti confrontare con la stessa versione di firmware.

@StarZu93 The products are identical in all.You need luck in the display regardless of the color.Many displays have color calibration problems.before you buy, see with your eyes.

@StarZu93 the most common problem is the color calibration busted...my black edition it is quite accurate but as you can see in my video, I tried the display with the black that it turns brown...try before you buy!
