Last year I've been to coolangatta. Crowd factor is about the same as cape cross but I think the cape locals are friendlier ;D

  • @69propane

I've been to coolangatta last year and I must say that I think that the cape locals are friendlier than the locals at snapper

  • heh heh

I have a saying I use when surfing with my friends in sharky waters....

I don't have to out paddle the sharks I just have to out paddle you guys.

    Seals "paddle" pretty good.

To a great white a comparatively slow moving surfer in the middle of a pack of seals probably looks like a sick or injured seal...easy pickings I reckon. I might be wrong but I don't think I'd be paddling out there to test the shark psychology.

  • Looks like this break is crowded with locals. hehe.

  • seals = white pointers... great looking wave tho... If ya dare CHOMP CHOMP !!!

  • although, with the more seals the less chance of getting eaten if you see it another way becuase you are a 1 in 459824735 (whatever number of seals are there) chance of getting eaten. But yes i wouldnt go

  • Yeh, mr green

You are right, There must be undiscovered beauties out there.

  • I saw this place breaking on google earth...there's SO many left points in this part of africa!!

  • Amazing break but with that many seals I would scared to surf, seals are the filet mignon of great whites! ; )
