I hate Manchester (UK) now. Because I moved to Yorkshire and its all (semi)rural roads where I am. I lost the 'knack' of city driving and when I visit my parents its a nightmare.
As soon as you hit the M60 all the normal rules of the road go out the window and the white lines on the road become suggestions rather than lane borders.
And if you drive for a 5 mins and don't see 20 people on their mobile you have your eyes closed B-/
Snerk....I love how you move the camera thinking we can't see you to a worse position...Love it :)...as for the driving, I may be one of the only one's that don't these days...but as a pedestrian I HATE....drivers that don't indicate grrrrrrrrr...Love to the Nells :)
I think a winter driving course should be mandatory in Canada, if you haven't completed one, you can't drive in winter conditions. My dad would not let me touch the family car until I did one on the base when I was 16, I'm glad he made me take that class cuz I think it made me a far better driver, I've actually avoided several crashes because of what I learned in the class...and we got to intentionally spin-out cars on big ice sheets...FUN!!!!
ps. of all the big cities I have driven in, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Seattle, Detroit, Chicago and a bunch of others, I find Toronto the easiest and safest to navigate, I don't understand why so many people think TO is so hard to drive in, sure there's bad drivers, but there's bad drivers everywhere!!!
In my own personal experience I think the worst places to drive are small towns, they all seem to have their own rules only the locals know!!!
yeah I had to do some of that... I just slow down. I love it when I'm passed by some idiot in a 4 wheel drive then I pass them a few clicks down the road and their in the ditch ...snerk
Good points, Nellie. I also cannot understand how people can live in Canada and forget how to drive on snow.
As for the part where "people are looking at you like you are crazy..." I loved the "don't you dare say it!" look at 2:15 in the video.

Lucky for us your 'orrible chewy gummy mouth was hidden by the wheel!
No no, you should *never* talk to *anyone* when you're driving. Ever.
Nice grunt at the end :)

Commuting 50 miles each way for 12 years has, sadly, cured me of any love I ever had for driving.

What do I, DL, dislike about driving, well I dislike driving period.
What do I dislike more than driving in northern NV, well, it's driving in the CA's Bay Area or Las Vegas.
