@MarcoRubio2012 The F-22 is not obsolete as all of it's computer's stealth paints and newer designs additions have only came into existence about 6-7 years ago, and 5 years ago it was put in service.

Sorry, what I meant to say was, by the end of this decade, the X-35/47 will be a first-day fighter along with the F-22, but with so many maintenances issues with the 22 that would be almost eliminated with the UCAV's, that the future manned fighters will be going extinct. A lot cheaper to! I would be surprised if they even make half of the 35's as they said they would. But your right, the F-22 would have it's role in the first-day combat.
