This is a rare treat. I have never seen or come across anything on the Autograph label, and I never expected to be hearing anything tonight! Awesome find
Solo 78 rpm records from the 1920's by tenor-or plectrumbanjoists are extremely difficult to find today with the exception of Harry Reser and Eddie Peabody. Charles McNeil the author of the famous banjo method "McNeil Chord System for the tenor banjo" also recorded a tenor banjo 78 rpm record on the Autograph label. He actually had his own banjo school on the third floor of the Ludwig Factory. Hope I will also have a chance to hear his record someday on YouTube.

Great recording! Some of the complex fast runs he plays reminds me of Harry Reser. Autograph 78's are extremely rare.

Lucky to have this Autographs are extremely rare. Marsh was the first record company to record electrically.
