  • the bassist is really good

  • Great show and great band! I find this "Rebel Rebel" version very very funny!

  • I've seen Dave a few times. This was the first time/ LA coliseum. Way to good then and now.

    thanks Steve M.

    Dennis

  • He's just really positive, creative, having a good time and good vibes all around!

  • diamond dogs,great album

  • super cool! i have gooseflesh

  • His perfection baffles me. Why is it that there is only one of his kind? It's cruel.

  • Yikes this does not sound good. Thank God he stopped doing coke. :-)

  • he looks sexy for once!!! finally took off the makeup!! GREAT SONG.

  • i think this a great version

  • thin white duke

  • What?????!!!!!!?????

  • What's going on? It's the 70's, and david bowie dosn't look like a transvestite!!!???

  • @KISSarmyist Duh that was the early 70s! Damn, I expected better from a KISS army member (judging by your username)

  • I've got a fever and there's only one prescription, more cowbell.

  • Awesome!! Rebel Rebel (Lewis Floyd Henry) Live! Brick Lane London! <<<<

<<<< check it! (and Ace of Spades too!)

  • Could I just call Doc and ask him to take me to the 70s with the Delorean? thanks

  • god

  • whos the drummer???

  • @EyMeng Dennis Davis. I saw this band April 10, 1978 in Dallas,TX. A very good noise they made.

  • @EyMeng kimbo slice

  • Ha ha ha...The pirate outfit music video was an awkward one. this is more like it!

  • Whooooo

  • great

  • Trevor Horn(I think) on keyboard also.

  • @davshaw5 Not to be a Nazi but it's Roger Powell of Todd Rundgren's Utopia.

  • David learned early on how to reinvent himself repeatedly... a marketing trick that Madonna learned from him. But, it's still about the music - rock on , David!!!!

    Hell, yes!

  • @anneallman1 Yeah, it's almost like some people forget that. It's about the MUSIC! Everything else is gravy. Or window dressing in this case. Still, there's an art to stage presence and all that goes with it, and some people are better at it than others. Don't know that much of the newer bands go in for anything like that nowadays.

  • Luther Vandross! olha lá!

  • David Bowie is sexier with makeup.

  • I'm a Bowie fan, But, Adrian Belew,..Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!

  • @connorpolo: Adrian Belew plays guitar on some of the most seminal Bowie albums in the 70s ! Okay, he may appear like an unreliable car dealer, but he is an ace guitarist !

  • @connorpolo: And Belew also played live for the Talking Heads !

  • The Thin White Duke!

  • Que swing!!! Excelente versão!

  • lalalalalaaaa...ole! ese arte bravo mr bowie

  • It's a good band, that, & Bowie's havin' fun. Can't beat it :)

  • david es lo maximo

  • was great - la la la - rebel without a cause!!!!

  • Roger Powell it is indeed.

  • I do believe that's Roger Powell of Utopia on keyboards

  • does anyone know who the bass player is in this.

  • @hamstar8 Bass player is George Murray

  • Oh David. So would.

  • amooo estee temaa =D

  • this version SUCKS

  • Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • carlos alomar is horrible, lol!

  • Adrian Belew and bowieeeee both rule!!!!!

  • Absolutely.....Two geniuses together

  • FANTASTIC GUYS! FANTASTIC BOWIE!

  • ah the infamous stage tour 1978 , bowie finally broke away from defries and his fortune could now be made by himself for himself , cut from mainman bowie started a new chapter, yet still much has been unreleased , what about LA 5 9 74 , the BBC have that .. but those jewbags will only release jewish bands ! studio work .. aladdinvain .. I have 6 mins worth .. where is zion ? cmon whats left of bowies archives should be for sale !

  • @thinkergarreth

NOW THAT DAVID HAS 800 MILLION DOLLARS IN CASH FROM SELLING HIS RIGHTS ON FUTURE STUDIO RELEASES, HE CAN BUY ALL THE LIVE

    MATERIAL AND ISSUE IT.

MAYBE BOW OUGHT TO HEAD FOR BERLIN AGAIN..

  • Tell the audio guy to remix this.... cut the chorus boys and increase the gain, on the guitar theme.

  • agreed. turn up the guitar on this bizz

  • Hi Daily Brusher,

No it's not Sly & Robbie. It's George Murray on bass, Dennis Davis on drums, Carlos Alomar on rhythm guitar (also band leader) and Adrian Belew on lead guitar. George & David came from Stevie Wonder Band and was Bowie's guys for many years. Carlos played with Bowie for many years too up until the Serious Moonlight Tour. Carlos, Dennis, Carlos and George also played on Iggy Pop's "The Idiot" album (which Bowie produced). Saw these guys live many times. Great players!

  • NEEDS MOAR COWBELL

  • lol comb over and pleated pants yet he still looks good. Why is this?

  • how can this man be so cute and hot at the same time~

  • beautiful, great band.

  • Please!! More Cowbell!!

  • ha ha

  • @kingkongpingpongdong haha no shit!

  • it's true, but that's the point!

  • Great intro

  • he's cute !

  • @fanwarner would you let him Fxxx you ?

  • i love tegan and saras cove of this song

    and i love the original

    <3

  • This is from BeerKellar or something, German TV 1978. Sadly no Rebel Rebel with this band on the "Stage" Album of the Tour. Great clip, thanks

  • i love the song but bad stile

  • live at the local holiday inn lounge?

  • Motel 6 Lounge on Rt 125?

  • nah, motel 6's don't have lounges. holiday inn or may b a vegas casino! they probably finished the act w a bowie medley.

  • Hey, that's Adrian Belew on guitar (the strat)! It might be nice to put his name as a tag/search term, because his fans are very devoted, and would love this! Does anyone know - is that Sly & Robbie in the rhythm section?

  • No its Denis Davis on drums and George Murray on bass

  • wow...what a performance! thanks for sharing...Bowie reminds me of Zappa...they always had great bands, throughout the years...

  • He's so cool, when he opens his mouth a little light goes on in the back.

  • when was this guy ever bad?! The boy aint human!!!!

  • I like this a lot but sometimes it seems like a dark foretaste of the grinning corny Bowie from the 80's concerts..

  • grinning corny Bowie my ass

  • That may have come out wrong. Bowie is a God to me but I guess Im more of a Thin White Duke fan than the mainstream circa Serious Moonlight 80's period..

  • bass is too loud

  • BITCH GOT PONNED

  • i agree DUDE!!!!!

  • same here!

  • Gotta love Adrian Belew.

  • so i just thought about this....i wonder who cut off ziggy's hair when david killed him off. i wouldn't be able to imagine someone wanting to ever do that

  • If it was me (which it surely was not), I would have kept it as a treasure ;)

  • anyway i can get this on cd or dvd?

    x

  • Has to be from 1978 or 1979 not 1972 because Adrian Belew is in the band...

  • song wasn't written in 72 and theres a clue at the start of the clip..... it says 78

  • Excactly it was recorded live in 1978 with Adrian Belew. Song was written in 1974!!!

  • David is so HOT!!! OHMYGOSH I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

  • this is 1978 he didnt write the song until 74!!!

  • lead guitar isnt loud enough

  • This is from 78

  • Bowie is so HOT! Great song!

  • from 78 i think, carlos looks n sounds so good

  • great video ,,i have the full concert on dvd ,,,i was lucky enough to see this tour

  • HOT! =D

  • Wow, this is great! I remember I had the show on video.... Great to see Sean Mayes on piano. Did you know he played in Fumble before that? Sadly, he died in 1995

  • I like the original Bowie version better, this is just ... well Bowie is always wonderful, but the original is far better.

  • Great! I saw this show in boston. thanks for posting.
