This was the best moment of that series in my opinion. I like the new series alot better mostly because of the clone characters and the extra dimension they give the series. But Mace Windu kicks so much ass in both cartoons, it's a shame that the movies couldn't really show his true force powers.

The lightsaber is supposed to be an extension of their being, though, so they're special and Jedi will rarely use another blade. The focusing crystal in Windu's blade, for example, was gifted to him by a Hurikanean that he saved by reassembling the stone man with the Force. As amazing as Windu is in this battle, the really sad thing to question is why he let go of his weapon in the first place. What a Master of the Order. lol

If G2 had more time and training I'm sure he would have surpassed even Dooku in terms of personal power, combat. Canon states that Yoda was #1 in lightsaber combat in all of the Jedi Order. #2 was Mace Windu who was elevated to that rank only when Dooku left the Order and became Sith. Further info states that Mace was bested by only two other Jedi... Yoda and Dooku. So the Force aside, if G2 hadn't had his lungs crushed by him (cheap move) and had just a bit more training he would be the better.
