lol i agree abd yes it is rally bad for the engine cuz u gotta choke the engine to get some extra fuel pumping out unless u cheat and add a second gas line and tank so it just goes higher when u rev :)

Unless they did it themselves they put a pushbutton to cause unlit gas fumes go through the exhaust where the lighting mechanism catches them on fire.

If that explains it enough for you.

A lot of people utilize a spark plug at the end of the tailpipe to achieve the ignition of the unburned fuel. Pretty awesome to watch the old rods shoot out the flames.
