The Hawaiian jazz singer delivered the music as a special tribute and many many people enjoy the pertinence. We also posted the "Chotto Matte Kudasai" music version.
Yes there was; pretty conclusive and by all reckoning instant. Please go to USS Wahoo Project home page or the Undersea Journal US Wahoo articles for more information from Bryan Mackinnon the project leader and chronicler.
R.I.P. Commander Morton and crew. Someone should tell the producers of this clip that the music they've selected SUCKS, and is most inappropriate as a 'tribute' to the memories of those who perished on board Wahoo's final mission.
Hi Waldo Pepper, well opinions vary and the music was created by a musician with strong ties to the submariner family, which we respected.
We have also posted the footage with the tune Chotto Matte Kudasai, which is the intended theme for the USS Wahoo film, which is currently in development.
I most whole heartedly agree. Opinions due vary. I was a music ed major in college, exposed to music in all forms, styles, etc. I never was too fond of avant garde. (Nobody said I had to like it. I just had to study it.) I have strong ties as well to the military, as well, having served some 13 years, and I still think the music on this 'tribute' sucks.
This is the best music you could find??? This music is an insult!!! Horrible choice!! WTF?? Change it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from the marine growth the level of preservation is amazing. Was there any sign of the damage that sank the boat?
