@jaydog2424 Technically, they had between 406hp & 411hp stock, but GM went with 400. They have always under-rated their engines, ever since the 60's.

Nice video! The thing I find hilarious though, is that Kumho actually decided "Hey, let's make a tire specifically for doing burnouts, and let's have it make red smoke!" and hence the name. They even have tires that make scented smoke. That's some funny shit. At least they know how to keep people coming back to them though, LOL!

still, the monaro is based on the 1997 holden commodore. (the prototype was shown in sydney in 1998) it was released in australia in 2001.

It's actually an international platform, called the Elizebeth Platoform (Holden Monaro, Pontaic GTO, Chevy Lumina SS, and Vaxhaull Monaro) It's not so much "based" off of a Monaro, it is one, with different badging. Hell, they barge the GTOs over here for Australia fully built.

the monaro itself is based on a commodore. which is a 4 door sedan.

The monaro is based off the monaro a 2 door holden car from back in the 70's or 80's i honestly cant remember which now. It is is no way based on the commodore

the current monaro is based on (meaning the engine, doors, gearbox and more or less the entire chassis) the vx holden commodore, sure the inspiration came from the origional HQ monaro but the actual car is based on the commodore, which comes from the 1997 opel omega. BTW i know what i am talking about, especially when it comes to holden. :)
