The art with this song is that it leaves the person listening to this masterpiece wanting more. Which is why it ends off too soon when the best part comes.

I can't get enough of today's soundtracks! Most of them are pure genius. Atticus Ross, Hans Zimmer, Trent Resnor, and Daft Punk for Tron Donnie Darko also has a good soundtrack. Insanely good soundtrack artists.

This music is beautiful and the scene in the movie where this song takes place is quite deep, very touching. You can tell it's when Solara has grown from a child to a woman, and realizes the depth of what she just experienced, as well as what she is in the middle of, and that she is traveling with a great man. I look at the scene and see it as a metaphor. If lucky, Our eyes are at some point opened to the world we are living in, are changed for the better, and are thankful for our savior

These songs are from the actual movie and it's when Solara has almost been raped but is saved by Eli. A man who walks the earth and whom she barely met. I agree with the thoughts of it being one of the most "touchy" of all the songs. I was very moved when they made a point of not dismissing what that can do to a person (violation).
