i can't find normal tutorial for installation mac os x from partition.
have anybody ?
i try install with leopard hd install helper but i have problem with mac partition , is not af ... and this is huge problem for many people , to correctly make a good partition for installation....
yeah my imac goes to sleep within one second, hit the button and within one second it's asleep unless i have a lot of apps running. cool stuff tho i wanna put OSX on my pc laptop.
That's not because of your computer.. all macs are the same way. You close the lid and it sleeps in less than 1 second, then when you open the lid it's back on in 1 second. It's just the greatness of mac.
Yeah very good *claps*... but the difference is, your machine is a cheapo POS, with underpowered processor (SINGLE core), cramped keyboard, a screen which is smaller than a postage stamp... need I go on?.
I love my MacBook, but sometimes you need a cheap, light, little computer that you can carry anywhere. Mine is an HP Mini 1000- it has he best keyboard you'll find on any netbook. It also has a 10-inch screen. I like it. But I still like my MacBook. These two things can coexist, trust me.

Great vid Kevin! Im very interrested in installing os x on a netbook and this gives me good arguments! Some say that the Dell computers -especially the mini 9- are great at that.
What is your p.o.v ?
PS: mini 10 has great specs and should be released soon :)
Right, and you still have an unsupported Hackintosh. Ha ha. I'll enjoy paying more for something supported with ALL features working perfectly. Oh yeah PC (AKA CHEAPO) fanboys just enjoy Apple next software update. A BRICKED MSI crapintosh will be sitting on your desk, Ha Ha. Apple will make sure that Snow Leopard won't run on you PC fanboys jackintosh.
Your dad might get mad at you if you keep posting with his account, or maybe your like comic book guy on the simpsons, a fat single 43 year old dork that live to bash on the internet. Maybe you should stop being a loser and get a girlfriend so that you might lose some of that anger you have.
I would def reccomend upgrading to 2 gig ram and a 7200 RPM hdd if possible. Im on the stock hdd but with 2 gig ram, the hdd doesnt make much of a difference, but if you have the money, its worth switching. Plus if you upgrade the ram, you have the option of using 244meg graphics instead of 128.
OS X won't wake just when the screen is opened on the Wind. He could put it to sleep by closing it, but then you would never see how fast that happens.
Ive been looking at what Netbook to get, and the performance on the various OSs is really determining it. I already knew the Wind had decent OSX support. This video just seals the deal. Thats an insane sleep/awake, and would definitely come in handy.
It's not just the MSI wind. Any pc with an Intel Atom is capable of MAC OSX, due to they all run on Intel 945 chipsets(well, I'm over exaggerating Asus does have a few netbooks that have Nvidia gpu's).

Okay that wasn't impressive. Actually it's a fucking joke, seriously a PC going from sleep to normal mode isn't anything impressive, anyone with a brain can realize that. How about the functions of the MSI Wind, such as running applications, boot up time, etc. Oh and I'd rather have Suse Linux on my MSI Wind.
WTF! Kurt Cobain is ALIVE????

These netbooks are great. My Dell Mini 10v with OS X 10.6.3 sleeps and wakes quick too. I also love how fast these netbooks shut down.

What power management kext are you using? My wind takes about a minute to go to sleep, but it wakes up instantly for some reason. Interesting....

you seem to keep forgetting that money doesn't grow on trees.
everything on my hackintosh works except mic in and out. i spent nearly 500% less than somebody buying the cheapest laptop would have

Welcome to the world of OS X. When I first switched I was amazed at how fast it went to sleep/woke up, as compared to my old Linux and Windows boxes.

You lost me here, what is such a joke, have you ever tried how long it takes on XP/Vista... because obviously you haven't...sigh
Nice to have OS/X on the Wind, one problme though; nobody seem to be able to get the headphone plug to work.
