is there a way to get ID tags from the song file instead of typing it all out in XML? i know with another way of making a Flash MP3 player you can just retrieve ID tag from the song file itself... but that was without XML. im still kinda fresh in the flash programing

I've managed to get a play and stop button to work by adding an "is playing" variable, which checks to see if the song is playing. But for some reason I can't get the play button to function as a pause.

If anybody would like to either help me with the pause button, or would like me to help them with adding the play and stop buttons, please message me.

Great tutorial as always, although I felt it maybe skipped over some important steps. Understandable in the 10 minute timeframe though ;)

@psyco4purps add another button for play and one for pause, name the instances, i'm using for play p_btn and for pause pa_btn.

in the as3 coding where you put the add event listeners add two more lines except instead of n_btn or b_btn use the instance name of play or pause.

then change n_song and b_song for the play button Play() and for pause Pause().
