  • The Gospel of John, Chapter 19 v 40. The gospel of John, chapter 20 v 4-7. The Shroud is a fake. It's like trying to prove a frozen carcass of say an elephant came from Noah's ark while in Genesis, there is a verse where God tells Noah not to put elephants on the ark. This is what happens when you put your faith in relics and not scripture - from the Christian point of view at least.

  • If they tested the blood on the shroud of Turin and found that its human blood......WHY CAN'T THEY DO DNA !!!!!!!!!!!!! It could Tell us so much about Jesus's herritage!!!!!

  • @Olivia911sparkle too many people have touched the shroud, too many DNA have been left behind. Its impossible to isolate GODs DNA.

  • They claim nothing else BUT the shroud shows this dimensional quality. Then what was the vp8 used for originally? They claimed a photo of a man on the team was not similar, but they used a positive photo, not the negative? The image of the team member simply seems to be a negative bas relief, but does show similar dimensionality. So, use the negative and see what happens. The pro-IT IS JESUS claimants exaggerate datums in favor of their cause and minimize others. They have an axe to grind.

  • Carbon dating is a farce. You fucking atheists should return to nature and live among the apes, like that tricky dick dawkens fool.

  • I am ok with the shroud being authentic, but it still doesn't prove that Jesus was wrapped up in it. There were thousands of people crucified in that era!

  • @cottonkicker What's unique about this crucifixion is that all the wound marks (the blood from the crown of thorns, the wound on the side of the rib, the lash marks ordered by Pilate etc.) all recount what's written in the bible. Furthermore, the legs were often shattered to hasten the death, but not one of Jesus' bones were broken as prophesied in the bible.

  • Scientist were very cool, they really try their best just to see the image of Jesus Christ in 3D,

with all respect for God, Amen

  • I love how they come up with all this evidence that proves this is REAL. But yet they do one little test thats says the timing is off and It's... FAKE. (but cloth is from 1st century) This sounds like events that were taking place in the bible when jesus kept trying to prove he was real so he did all these miracles but since he didn't take himself off the cross he's no longer the messiah! ugh...yeah he just rose people from the dead and cured the blind and possesed but hes not Gods son.

  • Not true. He was taken off the cross shortly after death and wrapped in the Shroud almost immediately which we still do today by covering our dead with a white sheet.. Even if Rigor Mortis set in, that is a muscle and tissue condition. Blood is fluid and as soon as the body is moved it will drain once again.

  • @merxxzion Thanks, for the lesson. You're correct. I wish I could take that comment back ;)

  • @merxxzion good one everyone is wrapped in a white sheet when they die. do you want to try again? thats pretty funny. and why do people watch videos and then just bad mouth them? why are you watching?!

  • what if this was an actual human being that was dead and later mutilated in exact places to recemble the biblical acount of nails, spears and whips, and then rapped in the cloth?

  • @cuzcatlan36 What if? Not very scientific. What if, it were really aliens doing dirty tricks on us humans?

    I'll stick with the facts...

There's no known process known today that can replicate the Shroud... the pollen found in the Shroud is only found in Israel... there's no pigment in the Shroud... there's real type A,B blood... the Shroud is the same type of material used in the 1st century... only the extreme outer fibers have the image on them, therefore not painted on.

  • @cuzcatlan36 Scientifically... if the human was already dead and then wounded later, the bleeding wouldn't be nearly as bad as what's shown on the Shroud, because of rigor mortis. The blood shown on the Shroud, came from the Person while He was still alive, and was still wet when He was wrapped in the Shroud.

  • @cuzcatlan36 the chance of that is one in 18 billion
