WHY!! Why the hell did those "people" cut that scene out of the american version. I've seen kiddy shows that were more violent then that. That scene also showed how Yuna got that sword something that has bugged me for YEARS damnit! Oh well at least i finally got to see that scene.

One thing I've noticed just for the first time that I've never seen anyone talk about before is how the emperor's clothes seem to be a mock-up of Fou-Lu's own wear... or rather the final result of that intent. They're bigger and more lavish to hide how small of a man the emperor is (that's the beauty of it after all), but the minutae of the style is reminiscient of Fou-Lus clothes. Am I alone in seeing this? Am I just crazy (I've never seen this before)?

Wow. They censored that whole scene just because one guy got his head cut off. It's not even that bloody. And they skip Yuna picking up the sword too, that's important. I was wondering why he had it later.

I just did this scene last night on PSN release.....ALWAYS been wondering wtf happened after he laughed. Wow. I am disappoint US translation team. They could easily add it back in too. Would only take like 5 minutes of translation work and very little coding...they won't but it wouldnt be hard at all..with psn and all.

the thing is... BoF is way adult anyway(gods can be evil, sometimes killing is okay, etc...pretty mature themes there), so I guess they couldn´t have adult themes AND adult scenes in the same place, in fear that the media would bash them.

this way it passed, but as a "for adults only" game, it would have rocked

I just started playing this again. To make up for the cut scenes, I've just been watching them on here as I get to that point in the game :P Getting crown ranking on the fishing game takes FOREVER! I just caught a 248 whale, and you get the crown at 250. SO CLOSE! AGH! n.n

@TheRadicalRyushin Because he kills someone who broke a century's old promise, lied and deceived the good guys (Kings Sword) in order to secure more land and committed genocide during the war using weapons that left sections of land completely uninhabitable.

There's also that he tried to kill him as soon as he woke up and just stabbed him with intention to kill.

This is really the only scene I missed in BoF4. I remember that the scene just kinda ended and left me kinda thinking "WTF just happened?"

The other scenes that got cut I really didn't miss because I didn't realize scenes got cut or changed.

I honestly don't see why this was cut, Final Fantasy Tactics was WAY more violent; it had stabbings, bloodshed, and not to mention some turse swearing and it managed to get away with a T for Teen rating.

I've played BoF games a long time and its not hard to see why this scene was cut even though compared to the violence of today's games, its really nothing. I believe that for the time, the scene was considered too violent for the U.S release.

BOF4 is made by japanese but the culture is based on chinese. The name Fou Lu is most likely chinese.

The emperor Soniel tries to kill Fou-Lu using God Slayer Sword, as expected he fails and loose his head (literally).

Yuna already knew this would happen then Yuna pickup the sword and run away.
