I read somewhere that if you breed a white-faced robo with a normal agouti Robo, the offspring will have a coat of diluted colour... but experts aren't sure if doing so will weaken the genome of the hamsters.

Aren't they more expensive than, say, a mouse?  Or do you buy two and breed them enough to keep your snake in food?

I bought aball baby ball python almost 2 months ago , he's only about 40 cm long (I live in europe) , I feed him 1 dobrowoski every 10 days-2 weeks; I pay 3 euros for each but I alo have bought 2 hamsters which I'm going to breed and in about 6-6 months I will be able to feed the snake with my own home grown hamsters. When I have more hamsters to raise I will "throw" them in tha garage, in a tank, with food and water as they stink in the house. Maybe next year i'll buy bigger rats to breed...

Are yours white-faced Robos? THey are very cute! I've never had Robos b4...I'd really like to! Right now, I have a pair of winter whites and in the past I've had syrians and campbells. I'd like to try owning Robos and Chinese hamsters in the future...but right now my two 'angels' keep me plenty busy!
