@blackmesa25 used a flyback transformer for the high voltage, an old medicine bottle i found laying around for the vacuum chamber, and a cheap/ free vacuum pump.
@MucusFelidae no, i wish i had a good vacuum pump or something to get low pressures. this pump sucks, but someone gave it to me for free. if i had a good pump, id build a fusor and crt.
Plasma + nitrogen + low pressure = purple fire :)

You can get a used refrigerator compressor and use it as a vacuum pump. You can pick one up at the dump for free.
