  • Oh My goodness!!!!! It's sad to me that this kind of prayer/praise is fast disappearing from OUR churches.

  • yes Lord!! this is what i grew up to!!

  • I grew up pentacostal but loved when the old folks would sing songs of this nature, it taught us how to worship God in spirit and truth.

  • See this is when they had church no air condition but hand fans and 1 service all day.

  • This is what I miss!!

  • say it, say it, say it

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the song he used to sing when he opened the doors of the church at Thankful Baptist Church...The words were "Come on...you who are weary and heavy burdened come on.." ?

  • @plain22jane The Hymn is "Softly and Tenderly"

  • Hallelujah! That's what i'm talkin 'bout. Nothing like a good ole hymn.

  • Was told that he really admired and was around CL Franklin

  • Yes if you listen to his preaching style especially his hoop it reminds me a little of cl franklin

  • Thank God for the Full Gospel Baptist Movement.. The greatest thing I see wrong with movement is most churches concentrate on the "Full Gospel" and forget totally about the "Baptist".....It's alright to operate in the gifts but don't forget about the old stuff that make us Baptists.

  • Bishop betta sang dat; powerful. I feel the power.

  • i hve this on DVD!

  • Where did you find/buy the DVD? I'd love to have it.

  • No matter how contemporary we get, we can never forget our foundation..... Most of us may call ourselves "Non-Denominational" now, but we were once upon a time "BAPTIST"!!! And we must not ever forget our history and hertiage..... Bless you Bishop......
