Anyways, the series of C&C and Tiberium Sun they released till today are a disappointment for me.

EA even fucked up their NFS franchise with this last release..

Can't complain about battlefield 3 though..but EA "mutating" a lot good games into shit. GJ.

this was an excellent game, and it's rather annoying hearing "lack of innovation" from every direction. in-depth naval combat, emphasis on unit micro, and differing build mechanics not enough? bad news, EA got that message... and removed all traces of a resource mechanic, instituted a "mobile Base" system, pop-cap, and countless other 'innovations' in c&c4. that turned out well. why it is people can't be content to see a game move slowly rather than charging of a cliff confounds me.

IGN used to be a great game review website, but in the past 3 years I have got to say hands-down that GAMESPOT could now be the crown of IGN. RA3 is awful and childish, Westwood made a terrible mistake by trying to make RA2 lighthearted and EALA repeated exaclty the same error, and honestly I dont care if WW made the games in some way, they had some great works like EALA but they ruined promising stuff as much as them, remember Sole Survivor? Well that was 100 percent Westwood, which show they are not unmistakable, you guys should judge a game by the game itself, not by the memory of a long dead company.

What I want is a command and conquer game more similar to the very first one. Realistic units mainly. This one had way too many bizarre units for me. Now I am a long time C&C player, and my other gripe is that this game is so hugely complicated. You see if I see a hum-vee I know what it does. But if I see a walking flak battle droid I dont have a clue.. So please, stop with the wacky units and get back to tanks, soldiers.

Amen - I'm still playing the original red alert (I like retro - so sue me) and occasionally generals on the first decade pack.

Theres a bug every 6 seconds - but I almost never had bugs when I bought the game when it first came out... & that install limiter helps prevent me from fixing 'em!

actually ive fixed it, i couldnt see it because on the mouse settings i had it to leave pointer trails, and when i saw it i thought, what will happen if i deactivate it and it worked, now i can see the mouse and all, now i pwn those noobs online!!

Personally, I didnt like this Red Alert as the other ones. This games still good, but the storyline from the others wasnt as good, that and Tanya looks ugly XD. Its really because of EA how they took over from West wood, and they didnt have the original storyline that westwoo carefully planned, so the game isnt as good as all the other red alerts. The game is ok though, But not as good as the other red alerts.

Yes Ra2 kicked ass!. I still play generals and zero hour I really like those as well. The only issue is that I experience so many game mistmatch errors and that alone makes it not worth playing multiplayer games sometimes.

It's not just for you, Fog. On the 360 you can't micro manage, making using multiple units on more than one front more difficult than a PC, moving across the map is also more difficult.

I take a look at the posters and i am piss of for their lack of effort...i mean ...they are all just ink jobs.

Ok can som1 reply to me wether there are any heavy artillary defence structures like the 'Grand Cannons' in C&C 2. Loved them.

I think the online will hold up and Having a whole other faction will be quality as there will be so many units availble when you go online. I think ill go with allies primarily as the Japs look a little lightweight in defence imo. Not a big fan of the soviets but i like their airships.

To be honest i doubt you will understand what im about to say.

The allies get spectrum towers, which are kinda like prism towers, and they get an IFV defence that changes depending on what unit you put in it.

Soviets get the same as in RA2 flak cannon tesla coil and sentry gun.

Empire (did you know japs is a racial term, as is as bad as calling a black man the n-word?) get an anti vehicle and one that is changes from anti air to anti infantry

The bigger part of the rising sun faction is like a very bad attempt to draw in fans from gundam series. RA was about Allies vs Soviets - Red vs Blue - Technology vs Brute force - erm... Tanya vs Boris in other case the most classic modern day struggle ever; Japan/The Empire has no part to play in this struggle. And how did einsteins death caused the Empire to rise? I thought it would make the Nacis to rise. 3/4
