  • how many farads ?

  • It is capacitor back, think about it like a giant battery, but the cap. bank is a little different. Were as batteries release their energy slowly this stores a lot of electricity, & let it all out in a fraction of a second! :) if ur a nerd like me this thing is fucking huge & awsome, although I would've liked to see it hooked up 2 a rail gun also.

  • What is this? A rail butt plug. Lol

  • You have a top coment from 2 years ago asking what it does...why havent you answered? Now you are forcing me to also ask.....WHAT DOES IT DO?

  • rape raped in a box

  • this call's for a Awesome Rail Gun :)

  • attatch a rail gun and make that back pack size and down a coupe beers and u got the making of a great night :P

  • @12co3dy21 Sounds like Fallout 3.

  • Dear god...

  • Are you going to try to go back in time?

  • @sdrobo

Oh ya can a bullet from an m4 go Mach 8 ?

    No I didn't think so

That's a home made 1 check out the military 1

  • Now. Fuck the box.

Make one that you can carry.,

[Just a plastic box with all that wiring inside]

And make a coilgun out of it. Then send it to the army and huzzah.

  • how many farads?

  • 3 words: vehichle mounted weapon

  • hook that sucker to a coil gun... the projectile will go through a mountain! XD

  • @surfisher

    i use 1 aaa battery

it takes about 3-4 seconds to charge

  • what is it?

  • Hey, I need advice: How many AA batteries do i need to fill a 350V 150 uF capacitor?

    You're a fucking GENIUS!! Thanks

  • Lol nice fan? did you buy them from some PC case mod store? :D

  • where did you buy those capacitors?

  • attach a rail gun system to it

  • @hellkid94 a railgun? a railgun need much much more energy. 5000 J is the energy of a common 5.56 round fired by an M-4, a light hand-carried weapon. This bank is to big for a light weapon and too weak for bigger weapons. But is perfect for experimentation with electromagnets.

  • wow! great job! u mustve put tons of time and thought into this project. cant wait to see the expirements u do with it.

  • hmm... any magnet ~400V switch can switch safe 5000V or more, if u put in oil..

  • its a sex toy

  • so what does it do ? :S

  • @mythicaljw Electric things :)

  • LOL and a small pistol is powerfull :D

  • well, another 20% and your ready to take on the taliban!!! Just mount it on a golf caddy or something. Btw if you get this thing to work, the weapon industry or nasa or something might approach you.

  • Wow, very nice setup there. You must have put a lot of time and money into that.

  • yeah neon transformer, only a low voltage one of 5500 volts, higher peak to peak obviously, but dont need to get any higher. Keen to keep about half rated voltage of caps to extend their life and to limit voltage reversal.

  • wow thats well made! is that an neon sign TxFmr on the mains input step up?

  • Just to create large magnetic fields for various things. I have another video on here of this working but I ended up blowing up a capacitor though, through a combination of them not being the best type available and voltage reversal. I now have a brand new capacitor getting made for me in the USA worth about 10,000 US dollars, rated 11000 volts at 125000 amps. These are special pulse discharge capacitors and are made for this sort of thing.

  • dang how much money do u have to spend on it haha. I cant wait till I get money to start my experiments. I cant really do nething right now

  • wow wth are you building that for ?

  • yeah it cost about 4 or 5 thousand dollars all up

  • Did this cost alot?

  • Very good set-up
