Frankie left the Teenagers. The Teenagers did not leave Frankie. I was there because I grew up with Jimmy Castor in harlem at the time.

Jimmy Castor wrote this song. He was actually Frankie Lymon's understudy and subbed for Frankie when Frankie would become "indisposed". He doesn't look a whole lot different than he did in 1994. I saw Jimmy in Las Vegas a few years ago and talking to his manager we both agreed that we should take whatever Jimmy does to look so terrific. Herman Santiago has always been with the group. Jimmy Merchant is back with them, and Timmy Wilson (Wedding Bells) is the lead.

The most annoying and frustrating thing that people comment on youtube about Frankie is how "people couldnt be there for him" Or "his wife wasnt there for him when he overdosed" ... man do yall know anything about Heroin addiction? Frankie needed to care for himself, and want to not use for himself.. only he could quit! How do yall know people werent there for him? HUH? Im so sick of this crap on here!... love his music and enjoy his life,, but dont put his mistakes and blame on other people

Obviously your young and thats cool dude... u should work on ur spelling lol jk hehe... anyways.. the movie is very inaccurate. And I read alot of people blaming his wife or friends for not "helping" him stop using drugs. And it annoys me because he was the one who should be blamed. I love frankie and his music and I think he is badass. But he ruined himself. The only other people I blame are the people stealing money from him and using him and exposing him to adult lifestyles when he was a kid/
