acceleration is bad if you know your engines. Aircraft engines work most of their life at 90%-100% rpm power and sometimes even beyond that.

which means, very poor acceleration power or pull from low range and mid range. only excellent top range power.

this is a free turbine though so there is no mechanical connection between the compressors and the back wheel so it can run at maximum rpm from a stand still...meaning it does the standing quarter in 9.8 seconds and no clutch to worry about

it starts off from a top at already 90-100% rpm and as soon as he releases the brakes, the bike is off. not much throttle control in my opinion. if in a race that would be fine as he could pre-rev to the high rpm and then charge. but in everyday use.... that would mean the person would be at the redstop with high rpm or else he would take off too slow during green light
