  • LOL we leave the moon a mess with our spent rocket stages and other trash. here, have our ghetto lunar rover moon.

  • note at the23 second INSIDE THE CRATER A SHINE DOME IS VERY CLEAR THET THEY FORGOT ERASE

  • Why must we suffer the idiots who don't know that the Apollo astronauts landed on the Moon? Why can't they just accept reality? I don't want them to infest every corner of the internet that has to do with exploration of space. It's enough. Go home, kids, and read a book or something. If you can.

  • america.........................

  • WE GO TO THE MOON, ALL THOSE WHO SAY THAT WE DONT GO IS BECAUSE THEY CANT GO TO THE MOON!!!!!

  • Small minds see little things; great minds see eternity.

  • 2:46 was this really produced by "dickmatt"? I thought that was funny

  • LAST WORDS ARE BEING SAID HERE

    watch?v=BnKlHgDBjUI

  • At least he didn't mess up the last words said on the moon, like Armstrong did the first words.

  • sex in space? wanking in space? people?

  • @ophiolatreia Someone's gotta try it, eventually.

  • @ophiolatreia There has been a married couple on the ISS, so while no-one admits it, it's quite likely there has been sex in space. Wouldn't you try?

And for the 6 Apollo landing missions, the CM Pilot spent a day or three days orbiting the moon while two were on the lunar surface. Maybe there was a zero g wank, but no-one's going to write that in their memoirs.

Astronauts spend 3-6 months in space on the ISS too. What do you think?

  • To those that think that man has never set foot on the moon. The facts are man did indeed set foot on the moon. The missions were watched and spied on by the world over. If it were a hoax Every major nation in the world would have screamed from the roof tops. Do you really think the U.S. could pay just about every nation in the world to not say anything? If you think the U.S. did pay everyone off you're crazier and more of a moron than you look already.

  • why does the moon look just like the Nevada desert LOL

Why would it be eroded, full of sand and level LOL @ moonheads

    is it nice in Lalaland?

  • Rhubba, your answer lies in the fact that people like Yuri Gagarin, Alan Shepard and later, Sally Ride had the nerve to chase something; a dream for mankind and for themselves. They chased that idea even if it cost them their lives. Most of the people who spend all their days blogging have the audacity of a bookend, the pioneering spirit of a paperweight. Secretly, they detest the courage of great men and women so they get their two minutes of "fame" by making sound and fury signifying nothing

  • That wasnt armstrong, that must of been 14 as the shot is taken from the surveyor probe that they landed next too.

  • It's quite obvious those are not the first steps - the ground is littered with footsteps and a camera tripod has been set up, and it's in color. Which means this is probably Apollo 14 or 15, and maybe the 2nd EVA of the mission.

  • LOL I like the "bloopers" at the end. :)

  • i thought he was gonna die or something ON the moon.

why te fuck call this video

    last words on the moon??

    fucking retarded..

  • "i thought he was gonna die or something ON the moon ... fucking retarded" - yaya

If you think Gene Cernan died on the moon then YOU'RE retarded.

  • how abou tmisinformed and also doesnt care.

what kind of misleading title is that then? huh?!

    dumb ass video

  • Three, two, one, ignition.

  • between 1:16 and 1:26 why arent there any stars in the distance????

  • Because stars hadn't been invented back then...

  • For there to be stars, the moon would have to be a lot less shiny, or the cameras set for a much higher exposure.

  • "Why aren't there any stars?"...quinn....that question has been asked and answered, PATIENTLY, so many times for so many years that only someone with the mind of a small child would ask it.

  • typical (non) response. "that question has been answered before" It HASN"T been answered before. That's the fact and remains the fact.

  • OK gromit here's why there are no stars in any of the moon videos. Look at ANY video of space station/space shuttle/EVA activity, there aren't any stars in them either. Because stars hadn't been invented back then. So simple.

  • its not the videos people ask about, although there is good reason to ask why nasa couldn't conjure up a camera capable of star photography, what people ask and fail to get answers for is why did the 3 stooges say they couldn't see stars from the surface of the moon. Reference apollo 11 news conference.

  • Conjure up a camera to take pictures of stars!! all you have to do is use a long exposure setting, proberly at least 10 seconds, prob is the camera would have to be held still for the duration of the exposure, also the ambient light would overexpose the film, furthermore you cannot see stars during the day can you? it was daylight on the moon when they went, why dont you try to take pictures of the stars, use a fast shutter speed take a pic of someting against a starry sky and see what happens

  • apparently that small child like mind also has a short attention span.

look up at the sky during daytime. see any stars? no. same on moon, sun glare is so bright, no stars or only the very brightest objects.

  • Because you can't see any stars on the moon during it's "daytime" as such because of the strength of the sun's glare..

  • nasa ran out of budget on their moon set.

  • That must have sucked that we havent been to moon since '72. We could have had moon bases, and a shit load of hotels there by now. But NASA pull the plug.

  • No the president pulled the plug becaurse of the Vietnam war.needed more money on the warmachine and took the money from Nasa to the Army. Simple goverment believe more in war that science.

  • Getting out of the gravity well is tough! Look at the size of the Saturn V rockets needed to push a couple tonnes of machines and men all that way. I wonder if anyone can find the actual monetary cost of each Shuttle mission. Must be mind-boggling. Frankly during the late 60's and '70s the US economy was doing alright - but even so, what an amount of money for what was basically scientific, physic and astronomic results. It's always cost/risk VS reward, economic or national pride...

  • Yeah, but look at all the welfare babies "we" financed. And all the giveaways the Democrats have done.

  • Look at us being aliens!

  • True!!

  • Idiot.

  • Rhubba: I agree 100%. By the way: look at the total of 'thumbs up' your reaction generated...!

    HOAX: RIP.

  • So, Eugene Cernan was the last human to walk on the moon to this day.

It's too bad Apollo 18 was cancelled.

  • Technically, the Official designation of Apollo-Soyuz was Apollo 18.

    But yeah, I agree.

  • Why can't we enjoy a clip of Apollo without the conspiracy theorists chiming in with their nonsense? They waste energy, oxygen and our time.

  • srsly

  • Because lunar landing footage is very boring.

  • It isn't if you built the machine.

  • Well I didn't build it so big yawn.

  • no it is not

  • Is.

  • Amen to that

  • yeah i agree buddy

its so lame how every 1 thinks that it never happened !

why didnt it happen all u idiots?

    think about al lthe footage?

    nasa?

    photos?

the recordings of landing times taking of times all sorts of info so b4 u go saying it never happened look into it a bit more !

  • @Rhubba the age of the internet has allowed (dis)information to be available to the general public. we can search for things and find thousands of related websites within .013 seconds.

as awesome as that is, we can get the bullshit just as fast.

  • @Rhubba

because it was faked you numbskull

  • @claytonstarbar I've just seen your profile and I'm not sure if you're a comedian or an idiot...you seem to be walking that fine line. If you're joking, it's not funny enough, if you actually believe it was all faked, you're choosing to ignore all the science, evidence and every single qualified space scientist and aerospace engineer in the world. But hey, you and the drawing of a bear have fun with the idea.

  • @Rhubba

Why does the lunar surface look like a desert on Earth then you idiot?

    LOL @ Y O U

  • @claytonstarbar Well, I've never seen a totally grey desert with impact craters on the Earth but one of the reasons why the Moon looks like a desert is that both of them are arid. What do you think the airless, waterless Lunar surface should look like? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Paris? Seaworld?

  • @Rhubba

BTW I viewed you channel :-(

there is no doubt in my mind if you are a comedian or an idiot you are an idiot and comedian by default LOL

Who said any thing about seaworld you pathetic moron, is this your typical moontarded sophist attempt at a straw-man, rhetorical Q dip-shit.

The moon should look like it has been pummelled by asteroids and meteors, irregular with smashed and broken rocks of all different sizes and differing amounts of dust settled on the top of them.

    Numbskull :-) LOL

  • @claytonstarbar Ah, why use a logical and well thought out argument when you can just throw childish insults at people who disagree with you, eh Clayton? Your description of the Lunar surface does not tally with ANY astronomer or geologist in the world. So why should I believe you, an amateur with a comic book knowledge of space science and who talks to puppets?

  • @Rhubba

I will use logical and well though-out arguments if you can understand them :-)

I can use childish insults too if I think that is what you deserve.

    Does not tally with what?

Astronomers and geologists working for NASA or the ball-lickers that will say anything to get hired?

You have a very naive perspective and your top rated comment is a blanket insult.

Sorry once again, but you are like a little kid nodding your head to things you have no idea about hoping to look intelligent :-(

  • @claytonstarbar "Who said any thing about seaworld" You obviously don't understand sarcasm or punctuation either.

  • @Rhubba

maybe I don't get your shitty gags and my punctuation is not as good as it could be?

But at least I can see that the images of the lunar surface offered by NASA have more in common with the seabed or a desert which are both the result of erosion something that is not supposed to happen on the moon is it?

Sorry to be the one to break it to you :-(

were you all broken up inside the day you found out santa was not really coming down your chimney pipe?

    L O L @ Y O U

  • @claytonstarbar So, You say You know more about what the Lunar surface looks like, then the astronomers and planetary scientists? Did the Soviets photograph the same seabeds and deserts as NASA?

  • @YDDES

I think most of it was done in the Disney studios, I am sure the Russians had something similar or they could just rent one from Mr. Disney :-)

  • @fiddles

don't you mean "you're a pathetic joke and biggest loser!"?

And why is your channel unavailable?

Kind of looserish' to make comments on some one else's channel and then make your channel inaccessible you useless faggot :-)

    L O L @ Y O U

Look forward to trashing this incarnation of you too;-) LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @fiddles

Stop making comments about me then an insulting me for no reason if you want me to stop responding to your comments you fucking idiot!

You pathetic second guesses only serve to expose your inner fears and failings :-(

You have reported me LOL to who your mummy :-)

    LOL @ Y O U little toad

  • @fiddles

    I suck alexis?

I thought you said we were the same person, are you calling me a contortionist now?

Or are you changing your demented mind?

You really are a sad deranged individual, is it the voices in your head that tell you to make your insane comments?

Psychotic bitch, nice name calling especially coming from a hideous freak of nature like you.

Lies, what lies can you point them out?

Gender confused, can you explain that statement and how it applies to me?

    :-)

  • @claytonstarbar alexistarr puts you in your place every time.

  • @fiddlestickszz

    what do you want bitch?

  • @claytonstarbar nothing you ugly bastard!

  • @ CitizenErased24 "also remember that because the moon has a smaller radius than the earth, from the inverse square law, the rate at which the pull of gravity decreses as the lunar module ascends from the surface is smaller than that on earth."

The rate decreases is smaller?? Take the derivate of 1/(r^2). You will see that the rate decrease at a small r is a whole lot bigger than at larger r. Someone correct me if I am wrong here.

  • He forgot to mention Velcro....except that's an urban myth par excellence and Velcro has jack shit to do with NASA.

Anyway, we all know Velcro was originally salvaged from a crashed Roswell alien craft! ;)

  • sorry last comment not clear:

with grav field strength, it depends on inverse radius squared, but velocity, it depends only on inverse of radius.

of course, both depend on radius, where radius is your distance from centre of moon, G is grav constant and m is moons mass.

.5mv^2 is kinEnergy, so the energy you need to escape is directly related to the speed to need to get to so you can escape.

  • They do have photos of the landing sites and the reflectors but the Conspiracy theorists still don't accept proof.

  • Idiot...the Hubble is not nearly good enough to see the flag on the moon! Read some science books.

  • You would need a telescope with a mirror the size of two American football fields (please correct me if I am wrong) to see the descent stages of the Apollo LMs.

  • Not sure how big...but they would have to be HUGE.... To resolve something the size of a volkswagon bug at 240,000 miles you better have a kick ass lens or mirror to capture light !

  • Then why they keep looking for further galaxy..if they can even capture the nearest?

  • Because there is no pressing billion-dollar need to prove anything to conspiracy-wacko moron's such as yourself.

  • I'm still on the fence. Many surface pictures seem legit.

But if moon has 1/6 gravity and even in a vacuum, it doesn't seem feasible the the Landing craft had 1/10 let along 1/6 of the fuel/power a Saturn V rocket has to escape the moon's gravity.

  • But remember, the Saturn V had to launch in a 1G environment carrying everything else - including the CSM, LM and fully fueled S-IVb booster. The LM ascent stage only had to carry itself and two astronauts up to low lunar orbit in a 1/6th G environment.

  • The Moon may have 1/6th the gravity of Earth, but it's gravity well is one 20th that of the Earths, so it only takes 1/20th the fuel to reach escape velocity on the Moon. It's

difficult to explain this in 500 characters or less, but if you look all this up and do the math, it DOES work.

  • your right! I never thought about it like that. makes scence.

  • also remember that because the moon has a smaller radius than the earth, from the inverse square law, the rate at which the pull of gravity decreses as the lunar module ascends from the surface is smaller than that on earth.

  • it may not need to be 1/6 as powerful to escape:

    v = root((2GM)/r)

so the escape velocity depends only on mass of moon, not grav field strength, that also depends on the radius!!

actually: (0.0123 Earths is the moons mass)

thats roughly 100th the mass of the earth.

  • How about the most important invention? RADIATION SHIELDING?

  • Za7a7aZ How about the most important invention? RADIATION SHIELDING?<<

Better yet the perfection of Peter Pan like flotations!

  • Peter Pan flotations ?? That was before Apollo.

  • <<Za7a7aZ Peter Pan flotations ?? That was before Apollo.<<<<the perfection of for Robin Williams--ee eee

  • They had lots of fun up there :P

  • dude there is gravity on the moon but 1/6 of the earth so they cant just float away from the moon

  • you dont float on the moon....its called gravity. You dont float away from the moon just like you dont float away while on the earth.

  • salamo alaikom brother hello guys can any make sur from 29 second to 32 second on the video there is writing in arabic says allah and in it s like that لِلَّهِ you can see half part of the wordلَّهِ soubahan allahe اللَّه لَا إِلَه إِلَّا هُوَ

  • Idiot religious fanatics.

  • drrrr32 <<<<<<<<<<<

there are a lot of crosses there too like the crucifix alllah

  • No, they won't float away TeashxXx. If the moon had no gravity, a man couldn't actually land to begin with. Any massive object in space has a gravitational pull. Usually the bodys size determines the amount of gravity. Anyway, Yes, I give the cameraman credit for the first steps on the moon. If I am wrong, I would like to hear from somebody.

  • why did they fall so heavy??? shudnt they have floated???

  • They didn't fall heavy at all.

  • Cool!
