I love this movie! BUT... as sound quality of my computer - and also my english! - is not good, I am sad to say, that I cant understand, whats goin on in this scene! can somebody help? thank you in advance!
R is telling S that her husband says that his swamiji says that the only reason he should have sex with his wife is if they could have babies and since they cannot is is no need to have sex. R says that her husband thinks (coz swamiji told him) that this bad thing that has ahppened to them (cant have kids) can be turned into a boon and he sees this as an opportunity to get closer to God by being celibate and getting control of his desires.
So what he has been since the past 13 yrs is that he wants to test if he has control over himself. So he asks R to lie beside him and says that he will not touch her or do anything. And there was a scene I saw earlier somewhere R's husband to test lies on top of her and does not have actual sex with her but just tests himself. Basically in his quest to achieve what he wants he is playing with R's emotions and putting her through hell.
S asks R why does she go along with it. R says coz to since she can't have kids she wants to feel some self worth or something like that ans also the first time her husband asked her he looked like a kid and she felt for a moment what it felt like to be a mother.
S tells her she does not have to go along with it anymore.
Mundu is jealous and an ass---- and wants R for himself. To destroy R and S he goes and tells R's husband and he comes home to check. R's husband tels Mundu to pack his bags and leave.
So after R's hubby finds out S tells R that they can leave and go somewhere and they will figure out something to do.
R says she cant leave without talking to her husband, she owes him that much.
im sure mundu would treat her far better than that fat bastard.
