I would like to say as a MRA, I have not seen any division along racial lines in the MRM. I would not be in support of the MRM if it did. . In fact, quite the opposite is true! But I think that while some black women tend to be more openly derogeratory toward black men when it comes to male bashing, women of other races actually do bash their men from the racial stance. White women do it quite often. For example, when they are criticized, they will often calim that a man can't understand because of his "white male priveledge". If white supremacists pounce on grass roots movements, isn't it more important that black folks join up with the movement as soon as possible and integrate their issues into the movement. It would be hard to penetrate an MRA meeting by a white supremacist if half of the meeting is black people

Some of the so-called Womanists claim to combat this, but the woman who actually started Womanists theory wrote one of the most hate filled, black man bashing books in the world, which became an even more dreadful, misandric movie. I don't think the problem will be solved until we challenge the idea of what it means to be a strong independant black woman is that really something to value and I don't think enough women in particualr are really willing to do it.

for black women so often is because I feel that black Americans in general don't have the luxury if you will as seeing themselves and their issues as individuals first and ethnic second. I also believe that Black Feminists tried to prove themselves to their white counterparts if you will as according to them they had to fight harder than White Feminists. But I think that while some black women tend to be more openly derogeratory toward black men when it comes to male bashing, women of other races actually do bash their men from the racial stance. White women do it quite often. For example, when they are criticized, they will often calim that a man can't understand because of his "white male priveledge". i think the whole gender war thing is disturbing too. i had a run in a few years ago on youtube with a bunch of white supremacists and the things they said about black people is mild compared to what we say about each other. it just doesnt make any damn sense. and it seems as if each side is trying to outdo the other to see who can make the deepest wound.
i was just wondering what you thought since it was mostly menfolk commenting.

Oh yeah and no matter what is said about hitler...he only allied with blacks and jews who had issues with Israel. He was still a white supremist...even if he WAS a jew. Whites had the best affirmative action going for themselves. They only hired themselves which in turn disenfranchised non-whites. MLK said that there are more poor whites than blacks but it was important that we work together to end social ills and I believe that to be true to this day.

wonderful vid bro. I definitely agree that what bros have to be careful of is MRA's who mix white nationalism into their beliefs. Conversely, as it applies to chappin..he mixes right wing ideology and demonizes the left. I say both sides are messed up because I want to cut the planned parenthood funding like the repubs do but they had the opportunity to do that on bush's watch but they saved that to screw with Obama. at the same time black feminists talk this strong and independent crap...cont

Republicans have plenty of opportunities to cut in those areas but dont because it also serves to weed out black men and todays succesful black females vote republican not democrat. remember they were going for McCain/Palin when Obama beat Hillary. To be honest black MRAs making race a component was becoming somewhat of an annoyance, which has now been put to rest with this video. As I understand, its just a reaction to the black women who are spreading slanderous ideas about black men. Which leads me to believe that black women are doing more to hurt the black community and its reputation with their attack on black men then any white supremacist could. No sound person listens to a bigot, but black women get heard loud and clear.

@TheBigBadWoIf I feel you missed the point I was trying to convey. I admitted my annoyance was in ignorance, which your video helped to wane. I too find it annoying when whites, mexicans and any others make race a component. I apologize if you felt my frustration was only aimed at blacks, and I understand why you jumped to that conclusion. However, since you were focusing on black MRAs, I felt pressed to stay on topic.

@creativebrother i think the majority of them are clueless [in addition to being neither strong nor independent]. they're just repeating a slogan. that's what makes having a discussion with them so difficult. because they don't explicitly utter the f-word when describing themselves they can always say "hey, i never called myself a feminist" when you call them on their shit even though they walk, talk and act like feminist...which of course is what they are.

If white supremacists pounce on grass roots movements, isn't it more important that black folks join up with the movement as soon as possible and integrate their issues into the movement. It would be hard to penetrate an MRA meeting by a white supremacist if half of the meeting is black people

@cinenglland As long as their ideas are never ever integrated into the movement, it might be a good thing to have both, racists and the people they are racist against because it might show them that we are all brothers when it comes down to these issues. If black fellas avoid the group all together who knows what kind of biases will build up, I personally think 2pac should be a spokesman for the group: youtube.com/watch?v=9myAkp28wT4 and see equal issues that relate to both blacks and whites

@TheBigBadWolf and the issue about black women attacking black men by race has somethign to do with the entire black community segregating themselves - not that what they're doing is right but when you see a community that does that they will get praise on their own ie like "black athletes are great" and also criticism eg. "black men aren't shit" in that segregated way...
