I just adored everything Oliver Postgate ever did...thankyou You tube community for letting new generations enjoy them as well...I'm forwarding now to my kids to share with their children...
God brings me back to when i was about 4 or 5, such a great programme to watch, had me gripped on every show, even though it was 10-12 years ago, i used to think that noggin the nog was advanced technology, i bet every child today would laugh if this was put infront of them.
Gosh! I miss that. No wonder the children today are so dumb - there's more education in 5 minutes of Noggin than most of them get in a whole school term.
Absolutely fantastic. Brings back wonderful memories of my childhood. Also Twizzle, Sarah and Hoppity, Space Patrol, Fireball XL5. Such simple naive times, I miss them. I loved Oliver Postgate's atmospheric narration - unmistakeable voice.
Also there is an image of a cartoon in my head but i cant remember, it was a kids show, about a cave man but all you could ever see of him was his nose, i cant remember the name! anybody remember?
yes! this is it! ive been tryin to remember this for years. this episode was on my favorite video as a child along with bagpuss, clangers and ivor the engine.
I can well remember watching Nogging the Nog as a very small child. It was a late Sunday afternoon, with a real fire in our living room and the cold outside. We had crumpets for tea then we watched Noggin - I sat open mouthed and utterly enthralled. RIP Olivier Postgate - genius. What a sad world we live in that so many other children grew up watching teenage bllody ninja turtles and other such utter crap.
Loved all these shows, just the best, look what we have today !!!!!!

@mixmunkidan I believe the one you're thinking about is Once Upon A Time Earth or Man - by a French company. They also done Life & Space.
