  • how much??!!

  • btw, this isnt an ibanez, its an ibanez style :D

  • just get an ibanez rgt model. It is this exact same guitar with 24 frets, and even includes the emgs as well -____-

  • love ur guitars!because of the wood^^

    great taste!

  • mm don't really like the neck joint. Everything else is good though.

  • @FMSClancy Agreed.

I would play it for sure.

  • emg81 in a guitar made out of that wood, thats ridiculous ..........

  • @eveguitars cause i think that it pushes the "harsh" tone of the guitars construction and materials too much, imo i think a emg85 would fit much better, usually a emg81 was used to make a fat sounding guitar more pew pew, and a guitar that is constructed for pew pew would soung more QQ with 81, so make it a 85 to let it become mhew mhew!

  • @doktorlindblood I love this comment. lmao.

  • @eveguitars it looks awesome

  • @eveguitars yo I like the guitar ^_^ depdnding on how much it is I am gonna see if I can grab it?

  • @eveguitars they're nice, not ridiculous :)

  • @doktorlindblood what the hell are you talking about:?

  • @doktorlindblood what do you want an emg put in? a guitar made out of plastic?

  • @XB0XFR34K id put an emg81 into a guitar made of mahogany, ebony fretboard and an emg85 into an ash/basswood body and rosewood/maple fretboard .... a guitar with the specs of the autor of this video will sound very harsh with an emg81 .... just l2p sound before asking stupid questions :S BUT HEY JUST READ AAAAAAAAAAND UNDERSTAAAAAAAAAAND MY COMMENT .... -.-

  • @doktorlindblood well the guitar in the video is made out of wood, and so is the guitar that you typed in your comment

  • @XB0XFR34K u mad? lol

  • @doktorlindblood well if you really want to know, the answer is no

  • @XB0XFR34K this guitar is made OUT OF A SORT OF WOOD THAT DOENST NOT SOUND VERY NICE WITH AN EMG81 IN BRIDGE POSITION, CAUSE THIS KIND OF WOOD HAS A BRIGHT TONE, so a woodmaterial with a more fat tone will make a more harmonic sound with an emg81 .... omg ...

  • @doktorlindblood why? Its awesome.

  • @doktorlindblood not really... maybe he's going for a Dimebag tone or something. just cause it's not balanced doesn't mean it's ridiculous. a lot of people, me included, like REALLY bright guitars. i always dime the treble on my amp, even though i'm using an 81 and a basswood RG. you can't call someone's preference ridiculous. nobody made you god to say what an opinion should be.

  • @TheMetalHeaD256 bright: YES. harsh: NO, you know what i mean? its way too fizzling, but its just my opinion and i dont want anyone to be pissed of it, just my opinion, nothing else, u fine now? thats the difference, but hell i cant estiminate every person in this world to notice that. end of discussion nao!

  • @doktorlindblood yeah i can understand you. sorry, it just appeared that you were one of those elitist idiots who think they can tell people what their opinions. apparently you're not. thanks for explaining yourself.

  • omg paint it for christs sake bloody hate plain wooden guitars lmao

  • @AkatsukiArts - No kidding...

  • im trying to build a jackson rr but im having problems, could you help me?

is in the fret board i wanna make a 24 fret guitar and the scale legth is 25-1/2 but i cant find the right size where the? fret wire goes.

  • why emg-81's...i would use an 85 split and an 89 split

  • i need a neck for an80's-90's RG560. do you take orders? lol

  • swamp music from lynyrd skynyrd! great!

  • so, how do you get in contact with Ibanez to get a guitar like this?? all custom made... how long does it takes and how much would it cost?... thank you =)

  • @aldomanbox

No Idea, I made this one. Don't think Ibanez have a custom shop like that unless your an endorsee.

  • @eveguitars they do... I bought my custom shop ibanez a few weeks ago

  • @eveguitars they actually have a custom shop, but you have to wait lots to get your work done, they have plenty of work :S

  • ill give you $2000 for it

  • You're a fucking idiot, just buy one from zzounds..

  • how much was the pick ups??

  • hi, would the price range be on something like this?

  • around the £800-900 mark but Im not making anymore for a while

  • @andest i make similar guitars.... i sell jem style for around £450- 600

  • Did this guitar sell?

  • Yeah, ages ago mate.

  • where's the battery box for the EMGs? nice job btw

  • the battery sits with the volume and tone pots..

  • In the control cavity

  • are you still selling this guitar?

  • Look at the video dates lol...

  • Sold ages ago

  • No, then it would be gay.

  • lol

    wow

  • HAHAH So right xD

  • how much did you sell it for?

  • thats nice

  • Superb work on the set neck. Glad to see there are builders modernizing their builds rather than condemning us to the limitations the commercial brands are still building.

  • Im interesed...what do you want for it?

  • damn thats impressive! Excellent job, man. You're going to make an awesome Luthier someday, assuming you aren't one already ;-)

  • You sound like Andy Sneap pretty bad. I'd be well proud lol, too bad im from hull, worst accents ever, nice piece too, your customs are beautiful, a Ken Lawrence has gone straight out the window now, your the man im in touch with for my next guitar without a doubt.

  • I did the same thing with my guitar. Minus the hardware/pups.

  • Its not a guitar I've stripped down and oiled, I built it from scratch, from planks of wood.

  • Oh wow. You did a beautiful job. How hard was that?

  • how do you install the electronics? like connect the knobs to the pickup to jack etc

  • Truly Beautiful. You're an artist man, there's love in the making of that one. Cheers!

  • Where you from, the yorkshire area right? I'm in York and looking for someone local to discuss with me a custom neck design - LP/SG style. I know pretty much nothing about building guitars, but i want to get one built when i get some money. - I'm a student atm, owe my parents £200 and have £0 my self at the moment.

  • talk about a natural beauty! Wish i could could get one of those mailed to the u.s.

  • where do you get the ring things for the string thru body?

cant seem to find them anywhere

  • try @ stewmac. com, they are called string ferrules I think... they have pretty much anything

  • yea thanks i found ssome

but im not gonna get them from syewmacs cos it costs about £12 or sumthing to get them shipped lol

i found a place in the uk that sells them:)

  • theres a guy on ebay I use called ch guitars. there about £5 for a set of 6.

  • right, thanks!

  • sorry forgot to ask

do you need to buy a set for the back and a set for the front or do you only need a set for the front?

  • wow man excellent job. i wanna hear it!

  • sold it a while back so no sound clips. . . .

  • ibanez headstock is fugly if you put a Jackson one than it would rule!

  • who gives a shit about looks?

    poser....

  • damn right!

  • and ibanez headstock isnt fugly....its sexy....

  • That is realy nice. It's almost identicle to one I designed. Get a video of you playing it.

  • Damn that neck looks fast.

  • yeah, its pretty quick. . . .

  • Very good job ; )

  • thanks

  • hehe, hello there sexy! :) nice guitar!!!

  • really nice, even nicer with 24fret and a set of bareknuckles. would consider buying but doubt id be able to afford. nice job though!

  • only sold it for £450 so it wasnt madly expensive . . . .

  • yeah thats not bad at all really, hope it went to a good home.

  • How much?

  • already sold

  • sorry, how much are you asking for?

  • how are you asking for?

  • how much for the guitar??

  • WOW

  • how much man im willing to pay up to £1,000

  • i personally think the headstock looks better w/o the logo.

  • with a single pickup in the middle it whould have looked better, but still nice guitar ;)

  • why point me down? i just say it will look BETTER! its awesome like it is!!!!!

  • I guess he could glue a single coil to make you happy

  • is the tune-o-matic reccessed?

  • Not on this one mate, no.

  • That looks like a heaps comfy guitar to play :D wish I had one of them

  • Yeah, its pretty comfortable!

  • how much would you sell one similar to it for?

  • This ones still for sale.

  • how much you want for it? i tried to customise my £50 guitar and ruined it and now its been dumped. it was crap anyway.

  • beautiful job!!!!! it's really a beautiful guitar...

  • hey.

i will be making my first guitar soon, i know everything i need to get for it exept one thing, i will be doing a string through just like yours, what are the metal rings called(the little black parts bellow the tune 'o'matic where the strings go through? and were can u get them?

  • they are called ferrules..

    look up warmoth...

or any guitarshop that stocks hardware..

  • thanks, i found that out earlyer, but thanks anyway

  • Dude, you should paint it, I don't like plain natural guitars too much...But hey, you did a great work with it!

  • I like the natural wood, I'll do anything I can to convince customers not to have a solid finish.

  • how much are you selling it for?

  • yeah wood finishes are deffo the best !!

  • this is nice dude, i live in Southend and i strongly think you should consider making a load of these and sending them out to stores like PMT and know the owner, he wld luv this kinda stuff in his stores (Y)

but i think you shld make a 24 fret one (Y)

keep it up, its awesome (Y)

    godbless, Wharfee

  • sweet as!

    i want it!! so bad!!

i recon itl sell coz its soooo nice

  • holy crap i love this guitar

everything about it is just sooo awesome

i seen all the vids of em and i love this one more than the others and just thought how much u charge for somthing like this??

  • amazingggg

  • Also I'd like sharkfin style inlays, thanks

I probably won't commission this for at least six months or so because I'm a little short on cash, but I'll let you know how things are when I receive a reply, thanks a lot

  • Hi, what I'd like is this: Ibanez s series style body maple through neck alder wings flamed maple top rosewood fretboard w/24 frets H/S/H pickup layout 5 way pickup selector 1 vol. 1 tone pot Floyd rose trem Black hardware Natural lacquered finish Thanks
  • Hey man, do you make custom jobs?

  • Yeah no problem. Just send me a message with what your after and I'll get back to you with a price.

  • how did you set the neck? is it at a certain angle?

  • yEAH, 3 DEGREES

  • Can ya do me a Ibanez S series body with a single coil in the neck , humbucker in the bridge zero point trem and reverse headstock?

  • Yeah but I wont do the trem because trems suck balls

  • Wheres the floyd rose tremelo system :)

  • lol, I cant stand trems.

  • agreed.

  • why

  • if a guitar neck was attached to the body by a knife edge touching two studs you wouldnt buy it. Thats how the strings are in contact with the body with a trem and It does nothing for resonace and tone in my opinion.

  • Is it easier for you to do "Set-Neck" or bolt on? Me and my dad are in the middle of a "Les Paul" build, we are most likely going to go with "set-neck" glued in.

  • Shit i need a new guitar...but i need some money first *sigh*

  • jimbo fretts... aww.. i love his accent.. and luthier's since i want to be one wen i grow up,.,

  • More than you'd be willing to spen on this or just any guitar?

  • Interested

for 300 US? ha ha, thats even more than I'm willing to spend.

  • how much did it cost to make it?

  • The Tune-o-matic seems pretty close to the pick-up would that effect its sound or playability?

  • No mate, Its all made by me from planks of wood.

  • wait so... can u order the body and neck from ibanez itself, or did u shape the wood urself? cuz if its possible to get the parts from ibanez i may wanna do it myself

  • nicely build guitar man! do you built guitars as a job?

  • how much?

  • when i become rich :P because of my music i will play your guitars elusively...just to let you know beforehand...

  • lol, I'll hold you to it!

  • Comment removed

  • definitely Meshuggah fan.

  • i lol'ed

  • Heh. And yes, you really are the one.)

  • i changed my mind. i like 6 strings again.

  • Maybe next time you call someone an idiot, you spell their name correctly.

  • Just use bigger strings and tune down. If you wanna go that low play a bass.

  • why would anyone buy a 6 string

  • why would anyone post a dumb ass comment like that?

  • Because it's the year 2008. You got a real answer? I'm genuinely curious.

  • dude standard guitars have 6 string...

  • Why don't you buy a harp, they have 47 strings !

    lol

  • Love the headstock. Do you except custom orders and designs? Like, pretty radical bodies and so forth?

  • Yeah, if you can think of it I can make it (within practial reason)

  • you dont have to sell it i'll send you teh moneyz

  • Sell to the states? I am always interested in luithers work never buy from a guitar store ever again when it comes to guitars...

  • if you could make this guitar have block pearl inlays and giv it a blue finish id buy it

  • you should give it a darker wood stain finish and make it glossy.

possibly change the inlays with the JEM or steve vai's inlays.

    then that would be butiful.

  • can u make it with out gluing the neck on?

  • sure, no problem

  • Hmm, thought I'd replied to this. I'm saving up for a new amp currently so I don't have the money. I may contact you in the future with details, but I'm not going to lie to you, I think £900 is pretty steep.

  • ........if only it has floyd rose bridge and seymour duncan pickups......but still......thats a friggin good guitar

  • damn... i'd love to buy that guitar. no money though :(

  • If only it was 7 string...

  • aww man...im not buyin cause i aint got the money but i'll just comment on wat i would want..i'd want a the best wood for a body but keepin it on the lighter side, maple neck and board, maybe a floyd rose,a killswitch, two humbucker and one single coil all EMG,deeper cutaway on the right side for better fret access, and neck thru design for even more fret access(love the high frets),24 frets scalloped from the 12th to the 24th and one volume, and 2 tone knobs and a 5 way tone switch, that'll be nice

  • how much a custom made guitar?

  • Depends what you want, If you message me with your spec, be as exact as possible, I'll be able to give you an accurate price.
