@BlackChronosXIII they already did with Marvel Vs Capcom 2. I hate to admit, but I never would play him cuz of that. Oh dont get me wrong, I LOVE Ryu, but he is terrible in that game and I would surely lose. Which is why I played as Ken whose is a beast with combos. Im just glad they upgraded him in Marvel vs Capcom 3. He can make great combos without soley relying on assist.

Players who drop their original mains on AE to play with Yun or Fei Long, that says to my own beliefs that they just want to make it to the top without trying. No disrespect. In future Street Fighter games or any crossover games, Ryu is my top pick. Low-Mid-High Tier I could careless.

I dont know how many people know this. Remember in 2, one of his victory quotes was "you must beat Sheng Long to stand a chance"? Apparently, it was only poor translation. I forget the real translation, but "sheng long" was a powerful move he could do *probably the fireball or uppercut*. Thus gave birth to Akuma, which fans wanted in a way, to fight a super powerful character, and eventually Gouken was created, which was dubbed as the long lost "Sheng Long" character...

In Street Fighter 2, The New challengers when you let the start screen stay and it shows the charcters stats, iT says Ryu was born in 1964, but the Game came out in 91 so that would put him at 27. But I think they had different ages in some of the Animes, and Manga comics they made

He is an easy character to use, but to ultitive combos with Ryu takes alot of skill. My opinion, Ryu is a character for beginners and medium tier players. Ryu is simply the best to me.
