Not necessarily, If the crimp is flat then you can just start at the beginning like it was never done. If you are past the first step, just do the second. If you are using non silver or copper crimps I would do over with better materials , the steel cripms fail regularly after the fact. Might look good today but expect them to fail later.

You are by far the best "commentary" on how to use crimp plier. You did wonderful job as far as -close-up shots-and drawing the plier itself. Awesome!

Thanks. I already beaded a lot of necklaces and didn't ever know about the second crimp from the front jaw. Do I have to restring all these necklaces?
