  • ya fuck straping a half way sharp sword around my wrist.... btw what would you do and way shooting a bow if you needed to swing your sword o ya let the thing dangle around to cut your horse and for you to fall and cut your legs off

  • @opiumkidx that is why the sword is the scabbard while the bow and arrow are in use for safety reasons.

  • Tam Cengaver! Hu!

  • mount and blade :)

  • Wow, this is amazing! I wouldn't believe you could hold a sword while firing an arrow unless I saw it myself! Thanks for sharing!

  • @OldManRiver54 turks are famous for that!

  • I also want a bow, sword and cloth as he does, maybe a horse too

  • @love2understand loolololol wannabe

  • Müthiş gerçekten.

  • acaba savaşta da atlar arada durup ot yiyolar mıydı :P

  • hi wonder if you can help, when i tried to use horn thumbring on my bow( i am a complete begginer to this archery style) when i try to draw the arrow back it wants to slip off my hand thats holding the bow and point at almost 45 degrees away from the target.it just doesnt want to stay straight!!! i am right handed but it happens wither i knock the arrow on the left or right side of the grip

  • Can you fire the bow while on the move?

  • @TheUTubeRebel Yes he can, just look at this clip of his : b07URAQnLbc&feature=relmfu

  • @TheUTubeRebel The trick to accuracy with either bow or gun from horseback is to hold your shot until the moment when all 4 of the horse's legs are off the ground. Then, you have virtually a half second time window to aim and fire the arrow or bullet. It is easier when done from a motor vehicle. This is the one single most deadliest weapon that the Huns, Mongol and Turk used against Western adversaries, the deadly horse archer who rides like wind and is as swift as a ghost.

  • Dude! That's soOoo CooL! :D AwesomE! You're great!

  • @gokmenpasha

    Derhal :)

  • Awesome. A magnificent demonstration, and thanks for posting.

It's interesting how these nimble mounted archers sired a people who turned out to be probably the best defensive soldiers of the 20thC.

  • Very beautifull, i love it !! just like Suleyman the magnificent . Tell me where an i buy those painted grozer turkish bow ? thank you

  • @neomauresque merci beaucoup. C'est pas un arc de Grozer. A friend of mine made it. It is very short, Ottoman style and from modern material. I did the painting and decoration myself.

  • @gokmenpasha ,thank you for your quick response, do you know where i can buy a nice (painted) Ottoman bow ? cheers

  • @neomauresque are you shooting or is it for your wall? For a painted Ottoman bow I would recommend Grozer or Saluki bows. Hope you are shooting though, don't forget to use the thumbdraw technique rather than 3 finger. My best wishes.

  • @gokmenpasha haha not for my wall i love bows, all kind of bows ,compound, recurve, yumi (kyudo bow)! i have a mongolian bow, yes i use a thumb shooting and i would love to have a Ottomans bow by the way i love swords too , i practice Ken-jutsu and i would realy like one day to learn horseback archery ! just like Suleyman the magnificent

  • @neomauresque impressive. You will learn horsearchery inshallah. Tell me if I can do smth for you or if you have questions.

Where do you live? Let's keep in touch.

  • Uighur turkish cavalry from central asia used small turkish horses and never dismounted but once they had entered the fold of islamic civilisation they immediately switched to arabians breed. The new islamic cavalry incorporated the best elements of arab cavalry, turkish cavalry and influences from enemy armies. Later Islamic cavalry like the mamluks were mainly turkish soldiers but had left their old Uighur tactics and adopted the "islamic" broad range of tactics

  • @seoden have you heard of the 'Karaman horse' or the 'Germiyan horse'? Or the Byerley Turk? Or the English Thoroughbred? Maybe Akhal Teke? Don't mix it up with the Mongol horse of today. cheers

  • historically, they would have rode the faster arabian breed of horse

  • @seoden Historically they used mostly the Turkish horse. The Turkish horse was even faster and more enduring than the Arabian horse and had an 'easier' character. I try to research the Turkish horse as well as much as possible (as a part of horsearchery).

  • Great vid, and a fascinating subject.

  • Very nice video.

  • awsome video, was your dress and turban typical for seljuk turks?

  • @slimshadythe2nd This outfit is more Ottoman, not Seljuk..

  • @slimshadythe2nd Ottoman bow. Thanks

  • can u do the rapid fire shot in minutes thing?

  • @kaindrg I can, even though I am not as fast as Kassai. But on the other hand he uses just a 30lbs bow.

  • cool, where did you get that picture from the end?

  • Very nice. Please keep the videos coming.

  • Çok güzel...
