The sin is they usually break them up and put them in a dump truck...its a shame because it could be salvaged...but as they sit they get looted and striped of everthing valuable. Then if you don't get the motors out and flushed, they are junk. So time is precious...
OK. It's just a SeaRay. Look it up on YachtWorld. More like $350k USD now. One less SeaRay is not altogether a bad thing... These boats were quite quick with the 660 Cats but were not built to last. Also the 3196 TA had a habit of coming apart? All flash- no legs.
Sadly several hours after this video was filmed this fine 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge Yacht (valued at $2.3 million new) was brutally torn apart by two Cat backhoes. The story is it ran into a reef and washed up on the beach but the interior was gone because the bottom of the hull was ripped off and was gutted. This boat was almost new and it is sad to look at this.

it would cost less to make it sea worthy than it would be to buy a new one so id say SCORE and get to work.

I was there when this happened... the locals... took a lot of what was inside...
apparently the owner took the boat out without his captain and stuffed it on the reef thinking he could get close in to the beach.... ooppss

It looks like it's stuck in the sand pretty deep. Was someone drunk? Or was it just a mishap?
