That night in '85 there was only one other game, USFL with San Antonio at Portland. Gunslingers were 15 point underdog but won 33-0. Villanova was +8.5. A big bettor I knew planned to parlay $10,000 on both underdogs to win outright. His friend talked him out of it. Would have paid nearly $400,000. He was livid for days.
Phi-Slamma-Jamma! Man that's some high-flying action. These guys have more umph and fire in there dunks than alot of the college kids I see these days.
