  • Yer, too bad he is a labor bloke :(

  • Peter helliar should've hosted this show, roves not funny at all.

  • petes was funny as lol

  • kevin rudd... whata legend

  • carrie's hair looks good

  • on the contrary?

  • what does "o contrare" mean?

  • pretty much sums up to "i disagree"

  • It's « Au Contraire » and it means, on the contrary.

  • Ah, back in the day with Carrie and Hughsey. =[ lol Oh well.. AUSSIE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • I knoooooooooooooooooooooooow DDDx

  • that was the worst K Rudd has no idea

  • "Once you pop, you can't stop ... unless... you're the King of Pop."

  • 'i learn't that some people think that beacuse i wear cravat that they think im pretentious, to which i say oh contrare!"

  • was i the only person who thought the kevin rudd interview was hell awkward? i mean he was talking about politics and everyone else was just looking around hell awkwardly trying to change the topic

  • no that was an awkward interview cause he is the pm! but rove made it funny though...

  • lolololololololol.

thats why you dont have politicians on comedy/improv shows..

  • ahhh kevin hes's so awesome

  • K rudd was th best

    !

  • Carey Bigmore needs to lighten up in this segment. She's always too serious lol.

But hey, gotta love this show!

  • OMG are you serious? Thats the POINT - she's supposed to sound serious... thats half the genius behind her segments - keeping a straight face when saying the stupid things.

  • i agree with you and she is actually a news reporter in real life so she needs to keep a serious face.

  • Also, her serious face make sit funnier :)

  • Today, i learnt that borzy is an idiot, and should'nt shit talk a man better than himself

  • This week I learnt that our Prime Minister considers appearing on variety talk shows and trying to be a funny man as amongst his duties as our nations leader, because in no way does that make him look like an insecure, popularity grabbing, incompetent twat.

  • who care what you think bozo , typical emotional based comments of a small minded party politics twit.

  • nice ;)

  • one of the best episodes of rove ive seen in a long while great line up

  • lol omg pete. XD

    his book "too soon?" HAHAHAHA

  • KEVIN YOU ARE NOT FUNNY

  • Kevin Rudd is a faggot.

  • says the faggot

  • says the faggot

  • Does no one see through this obvious grab for good publicity? I mean shit guys the reason he went on is so people think "wow...he's just like us...lets vote for him". How about people stop looking at the actual person, who is a knob anyway, and start noticing the fact he's completely screwing this country over and it's gen y that will be paying off the bloody debt for the next 50 years! We think we've just gained $900 each..guess how much you'll be paying for that..He's an idiot.

  • Hes not an idiot by any means. The idiot is you.

  • Oh dear God, you sound just like the damn Liberals.

You have to realise that he's just managed to get Australia out of a recession, whilst other developed countries are still seriously struggling. UNDERSTAND that the $900 was to stimulate the economy, and that's exactly what it did. Have you got any alternatives?

    Anyway, frigging awesome episode.

  • We have a pretty cool PM if he agrees to go onto a comady tv show that pays things/people out so we should all respect him.

    go kevin :)

  • Especially since it is usually him that is the victim of the jokes. He has a pretty good sense of humor also.

  • With The "What Have We Learnt"

With Kevin Rudd YOUR NOT FUNNY!!

    sh!t jokes u suck!

  • hahaha i love matt

  • Matt Preson is the bomb

  • matt preston has the lust for gluttony

  • Lol Matt Preston, what a classic.

    And a snappy dresser.

  • the fact that Kevin Rudd appears on this show and others (like how he responds to the chaser) is what makes him a great guy, its showing the world that he's down to earth and that he's not afraid to put himself right into the community,

I for one greatly approve of our PMs doin this and I'm sure I'm not the only one

  • I agree with you.....who cares if he is on Rove..... everyone respects Rove so I dont see what the big deal is.........

  • yeah too true mate........

Ironically John howard denied every offer that rove ever made for him to appear on the show...

    Kudos Kevo =)

  • You are so fuckin smart

  • you frikkin Liberal!!!!

  • Have you heard of a guy called Barack Obama and a t.v. program called "Late Show With David Letterman"? Letterman is a much bigger knob than Rove... yet the president of the united states was fine with it!

  • I think world leaders nowadays are trying to present this "down to earth" image of themselves to win votes. It's horrible. We elect world leaders to be in positions which are above us average joes. We don't want someone who's just like us, because we know that we can't run a country.

  • god you're an idiot

  • i gotta disagree with u on that, i dont think world leaders are above us 'average joes' their title is just the job they're given based on their skills, the same as any of us, PMs and presidents r elected based on how well the country thinks they can lead it.

I believe classing world leaders as 'above' us is the same way as classing celebrities as 'above' us, theyre not, theyre just the best at what they do and down to earth to me means one thing ... admitting your nothing more than a man

  • I presume from your comment about Letterman being a bigger knob that you don't watch his show and hence have no understanding of his format. Letterman frequently have guests on to discuss proper issues, such as sports, politics, global warming, alternative energy etc. As such the only comparable forum in Oz TV is probably like the morning talk shows; sure they have a few laughs, but they discuss issues. Rove is pure comedy/standup. Appearing on Rove is a complete farce.

  • Yeah, we should have voted for the guy that wanted to put nuclear power plants all around the country and fuck the Australian people over with work-place agreements and unfair dismissal contracts... yeah we would have been much better off.

  • Howard was a hero for his employment policies. They made the Australian labour force much more productive and competitive in the eyes of the wold, which helped boost the Australian economy. What the fuck is your point there? And Howard looked at nuclear energy as a viable alternative means of power. It is quite a good option.

  • You cant be serious... nuclear power (you know, RADIATION) is dangerous and pollutant - there is absolutely nothing good about it. I just thank god the Australian people were smart enough to see that, unfortunately for you though you are yet to come to that conclusion. And Howard was not a fucking hero when it came to employment policies, give me a break... spoken like a true Asian sweat-shop owner there mate. Do you actually think for yourself or do you have the Liberals do that for you?

  • Hahaha, no, I wasn't being serious about nuclear energy (it's pretty hard to convey sarcasm on the internet), but I was 100% serious about his employment policies. To be honest, it seems as if you've got no economic knowledge whatsoever. You probably also think the GST was a devil's tax, right?

And of course I think for myself. I'm an economics major, and through my research, it's quite obvious that Howard's employment policies were the right way to go.

  • it was "too soon" to make that joke!

  • IS matt preston gay?

  • duh?

  • hah ithought jeff goldblum was actually dead. i was extremely sad for a bit :[ it wouldn't have surprised me with everyone dying now aha
