The UK Apprentice is still at its heart focuses on business. I stopped watching US Apprentice after season 5, S6 was too stupid. The business was taken out and it become something like im a celebrity, get me out of here. Early seasons were good. UK Apprentice and Sir Alan are brilliant. Why dont they do UK vs US Appentice?

@monju3582 Trump's version is just a 1 time success. The ratings have been dropping ever since Season 1, Wiki it. By Season 5 or 6, Trump got worried so they came up with Celebrity Apprentice. It increased ratings a bit but still less than half of what they got in Season 1. Again ratings dropped fast & now, in the brink of being cancelled. Sir Alan's version in the other hand grows steadily.

@monju3582 I think the US version went for quick fame, giving more entertainment rather than the business side. It gave the show an immediate hit, but also an immediate fall. Looks like their target audience get bored very easily. UK version obviously targeted people with real business interest, kids who wanna learn. Still I don't think they're that bad, I'm not biased in any way but maybe, just maybe, American audience only go for entertainment and tend to lose interest so quickly.

This programme was started before the US version was introduced. Seen as though the BBC is the world's largest broadcaster, this will also have a much larger budget than the "cheaper" American one.

Dude, I'm an American and I'm telling you right now, the UK version is 100x better than the American one. The new season starts Wednesday. Give it a try. You'll have to get used to the narration, but the tasks and Sir Alan are sooo much better!
