  • Very nice bird dude ....... you also gave me plenty of ideas thanks for sharing!

  • Boo, no trim :(

  • what r those rims called they look sharp. im 15 and making a 65 falcon

  • Is there ar clearance issue with the breather and the stock hood with the mustang II front cross member? I'm installing a mustang II front end on my 65 right now and I'm worried about my stock hood clearance. I didn't want to have to drop another $400 on a teardrop hood. I have a 302 with Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and heads. Thanks.

  • @ratt617

No ...There was no clearance issues with the crossmember, I used the rod and motorsports mustang II set up there was enough room that I could run a tunnel ram with no prob., I also used a oil pan and pick up from a fox body mustang and lowered it as close to the crossmember as possible , I acually used short tube headers from a fox body mustang as well there was no clearance issues with the column and or shaft ...the current set up is Edelbrock 289 torker intake with a holley 650

  • @jrmesser3 Ok, so you just went with the teardrop hood because you liked it, not because of clearance issues. Great, that makes me feel better. Thanks.

  • I love my Falcons, but this is one, is one mean machine from diff work to the hood

    mean FORD FALCON BRO

  • Nice ride, I myself have an 65' Falcon, and was wondering if you had to, where did you get some of the body panels from? I am having a hard time finding panel to replace rust areas on the car.

  • Is there a web page or something you posted more pix on for the rear end build? I want to see more of it if that is possible. Off of what did you base it?

  • Great looking car. Awesome work too. I am currently working on a 64 sprint also. That looks like a Rod & Custom front end there, but who makes that rear end if you don't mind me asking.

  • @elmagicocustoms

The rear end set up was all built by myself, there is no specs out for this aplication , I used the photos from total control products as a reference and designed all the components my self to work with the falcon platform

  • have 64 ford falcon SBF, what header did you use for this build

  • Sweet Ride!!! I have a 64 2dr hrdtp 6banger car. I have a 9" to put in but saw your rearend setup and was wondering what type. Is it custom fab or something like the Thunderbird IRS? With your help I would like to duplicate your setup for mine. Very cool. Make the chevy boys druel...LOL!

    Thanks!

  • we are finishing one up but i doesnt look anything like that im hopein to rebuild it in a few years an put a hole lot of more work in it somthingthing like what yall did nice job

  • Excellent thanks for the information. Where did you get all the sheet metal forward of the Gas Tank ? I cant seem to find that stuff anywhere ?

  • I assume you didnt back half the car. What is the biggest tire you can fit without back halfing the car ?

  • @bartsigler ....THATS THE REASON I WENT WITH THIS SET UP , i DIDNT WANT TO CUT UP THE CAR,.....8 INCH RIM WITH 255/40/17 ....PROB COULD SQEEZE 265/40/17 IF YA GOT CUSTOM BACK SPACE ON THE WHEEL BUT WOULD BE REAL CLOSE !!!!

  • That's truly amazing! It looks like a lot of hours and hard work went into what is one of the sweetest Falcons I've ever seen! Very Nice!!!

  • Thanks Alot

  • Beautiful! Nice work...
