  • Are those LT or shorty's?

  • @NICK13520 These are the OBX long tube headers for a 2002 Silverado

  • is that 2 or 4 wheel drive? thinking about getting a set for a 4wd but want to make sure they will fit

  • @redneck9491 Its a Z71 4x4. We did have a front drive shaft clearance issue. But if you test fit the left side first, mark where the drive shaft is. You can heat that part and reshape it with a hammer. We had to do it after we installed it and it was a pain. Remember that engine "torques" in its mounts at high loads so you need to give a little extra clearance to allow for that too.

I ended up installing a lift a year or so later and that would eliminate any drive shaft issues.

  • is it just me or does it say 5.3 in your title and 6.0 in your description so did you swap in a 6.0 or leave your 5.3?

  • @05silvy its a 5.3, the Z71 package wasn't offered on the 5.3 motors for that year of truck

  • @05silvy Really late reply but its a 5.3 engine with the "y-pipe" from a 6.0 The 5.3 y-pipe merged into one pipe. The 6.0 "y-pipe" remains duals so I could have true duals out the back.
