It's 5 goals by wc for each one. Among this 1000 Romario goals, about 70 weren't scored in official games.... still, 930 is absolutelly amazing and more than 2 times of what Ronaldo scored so far.

pele may have played in a league with all the best players but in the 60's the game was no where near as technically advanced as it is today. it was common for scores to be 7-4 and so if he were around today playing in europe there is no way he would have scored all those goals! and one more thing ronaldo won 3 world player of the year awards for 3 different teams in 3 different leagues- i know 3's a number but that still proves he's better!

pele & romario scored most there goal in brasil . . . and if you know anythin about soccer u kno brasil is not known for their defense. so its not that impressive how much pele or romario scored to me. however ronaldo did it in 2 of the top 3 leagues in the world. so yes pele & romario may have scored alot more, but its not at the same level of difficulty as ronaldo . . .

Romario played one wc, scored 5 goals (he missed others by injuries and coach dumbness). Ronaldo played 3 (not considering 94, when he stayed on bench) and scored 15 goals. It's 5 goals by wc for each one. Among this 1000 Romario goals, about 70 weren't scored in official games.... still, 930 is absolutelly amazing and more than 2 times of what Ronaldo scored so far.

Man... I'm talking about Fifa stats, 1281 goals for Pele, about 900 for Romario. In OFFICIAL GAMES! Which mean they really happened! They were not invented!!! GOT IT? Romario was named best player of the world in 94.... in 95 he was playing in Brazillian league. Why? Not because no european club wanted him, but becos he wanted to live in Brazil, in Rio. He's not the money making machine that Ronaldo is. STILL, he scored more goals (average) playing on PSV and Barcelona than for Brazilian teams.

I agree that today brazilian league is weaker than the spanish, but thats TODAY. In the 60s, best players and best teams were in Brazil. Cause of a very simple fact: at that time, players barely played outside their own countries. So, cut the Pelé b.s. you said. And Romário also had many injuries problems, but not as much as Ronaldo. And FINALLLY: I was not talking about NUMBERS on my first comment when I said Romário is the Best scorer ever (based only on numbers, it would have to be Pelé).

I was giving a personal opinion as someone that have watched both Ronaldo and Romário for their entire carrer (clubs and national team). And I believe that Romário misses fewer goals oportunities, hes better than anyone finaiysing in the goal área... He Just know better than anyone how to score a goal. The cold blood and iq that genius like Zidane has on the midfield, Romário has inside the goal area. And I rest my case.

pele may have played in a league with all the best players but in the 60's the game was no where near as technically advanced as it is today. it was common for scores to be 7-4 and so if he were around today playing in europe there is no way he would have scored all those goals! and one more thing ronaldo won 3 world player of the year awards for 3 different teams in 3 different leagues- i know 3's a number but that still proves he's better!
