what a shame you acted like a typical, stammering, shy englishman and clammed up completely! did you not have anything to say? how about ' im fine, how are you bill?' of all the things i would love to say to him if i met him, then again i suppose you cant help it if you cant communicate properly, or maybe you just got starstruck.

This is a cool video. Bill Bryson writes alot in each of the books he signs. The sound and video quality are low yes, but there's no mistaking what's going on and it's a cool interaction you're having with Bill. You are a lucky bahstahd! I noted Bill's left handed. Good on ya.

Well just about everything in that video was bad, couldn't hear anything he said or see him.
But regardless, very cool you got to meet him, Bill Bryson is easily one of my top five favorite authors if not my number one. Read pretty much everything he's got.
