I worked with Loggerhead sea turtles one summer as an intern and faced numerous opposition to helping the turtles, but it was mainly through ignorance and a lack of proper education. Educating people on the plight of threatened and endangered species will greatly help the organisms, and swell the numbers of those actually trying to help.
