  • ummm im a mechanic for delta and its total bs u can use your phone all daym flight the electronics are so heavily insulated that they phones dont mess with anything

  • Terrorist!

  • Any Electrics , while on a plane at takeoff , can interfere with the flight mechanics , its people like you who give flying a bad name!

  • @meggsie26 Not entirley true. Any device giving off any sort of RF signal can interfere with communication equipment and make it hard for us to hear in the cockpit. Flying remains safer than driving, so therefore it has no sort of "Bad name" . But yes, we do appreciate when passengers comply with FAA Regulations and shut off any and all electronic devices they have brought onboard when asked.

  • I can see why this banned coz like... they could use it for wank material.

  • i literally shared this with all of my friends because it was so freaking hilarious, i couldn't stop laughing at how gay this video is

  • It only involves Sim controlled devices and it is not proven that it affects the planes electronic devices. They just say it as a precautionary. But cameras do not send out a SIM signal so cameras are okay, unless it is on the phone. Again, there is no definite proof that it causes pilots electronics to mess up. I have been flying for over 20 years and I have had people use video cameras on my planes and I never seen any changes. I even had a passengers filming inside the cockpit on occasion.

  • If all this guff about ALL electronic equipment emitting signals were true. Then the use of ALL electronic equipment would be banned for the duration of the flight.Because if it was going to interfere with the plane during take off and landing, then it would be just as dangerous at 39,000 feet. Can any of you tell me the frequencies that my camera emits these signals at?

    No?

    I didn't think so...

Over the last 12 years,i have filmed every take off and landing i have been through, and nothing happened

  • @jwcartlidge It's a dumb rule. My dad is a Captain and he has told me numerous times that it doesn't do anything at all so keep on filming!

  • @jwcartlidge I can try to explain some of it. First, at 39,000ft you use don't use the same equiptment you do on takeoff/landing, so if the pilots are trying an ILS approach and your camera messes with the equiptment, you could end up in a world of hurt, either legaly or physicaly. A woman flying to Chicago or something just a couple years ago was playing on her iPhone and ended up in Ohio (or somewhere near there).

  • @Idaho278

Yes, i understand and agree about the IPhone,it can sens and receive radio signals.A camera does not, there is nothing inside to do this.To interfere with electronics a device has to either emit radio signals or have a massive magnetic emission capability.Ordinary hand held digital cameras have neither.

  • @jwcartlidge It's not about that. The devices you can use in cruise you can't during take off and landing because in case of a rejected take off or emergency landing those planes can decelerate at a rate you wouldn't believe. Would you like to get hit in the back of the head by a camera traveling through the cabin at up to 100mph? I think not.

And frankly with severe turbulence it can be just as messy during cruise.

  • Too bad this didn't turn into a passenger removed from airlines vid...because now it was just a waste of my time. The sad part is my time has 0 value right now.

  • It's not the act of videoing that is the issue! You are using a piece of electronic equipment during take off. ALL electonic equipment emits electronic signals when switched on (look up the acronym EMC). Those signals can interfere with equipment on board the aircraft during the critical stages of take off and landing. Granted the risk is small but there is a risk and rather than increase that risk all airlines ask passengers to switch off all electronic equipment during these stages.

  • @Bazzo61 Wrong. The reason you cant use your electronics is because they are distracing and being that take-off and landing are the most dangerous time, thats when they want you to be fully aware of whats going on.

  • Someone splain me why I need to shut all electronic devices during takeoff and landing.. but before you start bullshitting me, check out my nick first.

  • 1:05 USB port in the seat.XD

  • amazing how many people on youtube are pilots...

  • WHERE IS the duck-model life jacket?

  • You're also supposed to turn off all electronic devices at this time. From pushback to after take-off, above 10'000 MSL.

  • "catches me out" SOUND LIKE YOU WERE WANKING OFF!

  • everyone shut the fuck up , guarantee this guy has been on a plane many times before and knows how to put a mask on ... who cares about safety on a plain , if he wants to video let him video your absolute wankers.

  • @123josh987 You've obviously have never been in an aircraft emergency....i have and even as an airline pilot i always watch the brief as do my fellow colleagues......why.......because we know a lot more about aircraft, flying and aviation safety than the likes of you ever could. Watch the Brief because i can guarantee that you wouldn't know your arse from your elbows in a real emergency and its wankers like you that get people killed when the shit hits the fan. grow up.

  • is'nt that the adelaide airport

  • yeah ! Captain Maddy Beaver ! Bwahahahahahahaha (I didn't believe the other comment) Shouldn't he be called Captain Madforbeaver !! hhahahaa

  • wanna save time?? jump to 2:20

  • @khankislaoras Thanks man!

  • awesome spool up sound especially 737's. :)

  • Someone said it's illegal to film this and others reply saying "why would they have a law like that?" there's actually an iPhone app that gives you a list of real but weird laws from all the US states. One is you cannot consider a cucumber a pickle unless it bounces

  • I am surprised that you are happy to advertise the fact that you ignore the pre-flight safety checks. When there is a genuine emergency on board it is people like you {arrogant know alls} who hinder the safety of other passengers when they suddenly realise that they don`t know what to do.It does happen,so get a life.!!!

  • @tourlestrane1 I agree with you completely! It's also normally these idiots who go and sue companies when they get hurt - meantime it is his own stupid fault!

  • @ElenarMT Thank you.I have been involved with aircraft all my working life.It is easy to spot the seasoned travellers. They are the ones who WATCH the safety announcements if only out of good manners. The Financial Times Brigade, mobile phone users etc. are the ones who would compromise the safety of passengers in an emergency because they know not what to do & then sue the airline getting scratched trying to find the nearest exit. You see these "air heads" all the time.!

  • @tourlestrane1 Well said.....when i POSN.....it amuses/really annoys me me when i see all those idiots who ignore the safety brief.

  • @tourlestrane1 Maybe he flies so often that he memorized it. I fly very often and I can come to your house right now and recite the entire thing for you word for word.

  • @lkorn9150 Yes,that`s fine. But you miss the point about being bad manners not to watch the safety demo. How would you feel if people had their heads buried in the Financial Times & using mobile phones if you were doing the safety demo.?Happy & safe flying.!

  • @lkorn9150 Bet you couldn't when the aircraft is filled with thick black chocking acrid smoke burning your eyes and lungs as the flames are turning you to a cinder or know exactly how many seats to the nearest emergency exit or wether it's a rotate lever or twist lever or lift vertical lever to the the emergency exit or wether it's a tie, snap lock or clip to the life vest......do you see where i'm going....and as an airline pilot it's people like you that annoy crew and get other pax killed.

  • @flapsto60 Well sir, in that case I would like to know which airline you work for so that I may never fly on that airline. You seem to know first hand what it is like to be in a horrible airplane emergency. I'd furthermore like to state that securing a gas mask, clipping a life vest, or following the lights above or on the floor of the cabin to the nearest exit can be done by my 8 year old nephew. And I can choose to listen or to not listen to something I've payed attention to hundreds of times.

  • @lkorn9150 Firstly with you apparent attitude you will never fly with my company as i now fly private jets and it's VERY expensive. Secondly i have had two emergencies one a bomb scare and an unsafe gear indication. Both of which may require pax to know what to do and where to go. The Hudson crash shows the stupidity of people who don't listen as most of them didn't have a life vest on. I know the checks on my a/c inside out but i ALWAYS use the check list as i'm human and will forget something.

  • @lkorn9150 As a pilot we ALWAYS brief what we will do in an emergency and i guarantee that i've flown a lot more than you ever will. It is your right to not listen to the brief but what about your 8 year old nephew sat next to you or other passengers who i'm sure will want you to know what to do when it goes all wrong. You spending 3 extra seconds working out what to do instead of just doing what they showed on the brief WILL kill someone possibly someone you know and love. This is a fact.

  • @lkorn9150 It is also a legal requirement for you to listen to the brief. If you end up injured and tried to sue the company you are not covered if it's proven you didnt bother to watch the brief. You have an airline pilot telling you how important the brief is and you dont seem to want to take professional advice. I'm sure in your job you want people to listen to your advice. I implore you to listen to the briefing if not for you then your family or innocent passengers around you. Good luck

  • @flapsto60

    Bravo.

  • @tourlestrane1 You're my likely to be killed by your trousers than die on a plane, do you read and study manuals on how to put your trousers on?

  • @youfr00b You are more likely to trip over yours in an emergency.!!

  • @tourlestrane1 no offence but I am studying aerospace in university and already have aerospace engineering diplomas and I from what I have learnt, most emergencies that would require you to take any action on the cards mostly ends up in your death b4 you are able to do such action as the aircraft disintegrates on impact (even more so on a water landing) only in a very small percent of scenarios will you be able to survive a real emergency on an aircraft and perform the actions on the card. sorry

  • @tourlestrane1 YOU STUPID BITCH! FUCK YOU THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO THREAT SINCE IT DOES NOT PRODUCE NOR RECEIVE SIGNALS! FUCK YOU ALL PATHETIC PEOPLE STOP BEING SO UPTIGHT AND REMOVE THAT FUCKING PLASTIC DICK UP YOUR ASS! YOU FUCKING BITCH STUPID FAGGOTS WHORES ETC. WITH SHOVED PLASTIC DICKS UP YOUR FUCKING VAGINAS! I HOPE YOU SERIOUSLY DIE IN A FUCKING PLANE CRASH AND SUFFER!!!

  • @patrikplanefan97 amen brotha amen, fuckin pansy ass bitch crying over video recording acting like frequent fliers need to be reminded how to use a seatbelt

  • @patrikplanefan97 As an EMC engineer (I suggest you look the words up - it stands for electro magnetic compatibility) I would like to point out that ALL electonic devices emit signals when operating (yes - even in airplane mode)!! That is the reason they ask idiots like you to turn off ALL electonic devices during the critical stages of take off and landing.

  • @tourlestrane1 Lol, I'm sure he's seen it plenty of times

  • @tourlestrane1 anal fucker

  • @tourlestrane1

Did you know that some people have flown more than 10 times and they dont need to see it more and more?

  • @hiimkian If you don't, they can actually throw you off the plane if you disobey to pay attention.

  • I have been on an airoplane to many times so when this happends i would just say it to the person next to me just to make me look cool:PP

  • shit

  • whata badmann

  • Busted!

  • LOL

  • all the dislikes yet if this video was named 'taxying to runway' it would have a total different response

  • HAHA YEAH BRO SHE REALLY CAUGHT YOU OUT, GREAT JOB

  • Cool video bro.....

  • omg what a twat you are

  • You know it's illegal to film the flight safety brifing right?

  • @pbrew85 yeah might shut down the plane

  • @pbrew85 Which country has such odd law? and why? :D

  • @FerreusNRG It don't matter which country it's illegal everywhere.

  • @pbrew85 It's not illegal to film the briefing.....stupid for not listening......but not illegal. But it is illegal to take a digital image of an individual without their permission

  • I'm glad you had the opportunity to fly on a commercial aircraft.

  • Best video ever!!!

  • 250

  • @csoncson1233 251 :D

  • 290000 people watched this 2:22 boring minutes of bullshit.

  • @SirKamiloPL It took you 5 mins to write that?

    Good lord.

  • OHHH you said catches me out... I thought you meant... but thats not allowed on youtube..... nm..

  • Good audition - I'd give her the part

  • maybe she was just waving at you

  • Kool

  • the engine will be at the back

  • She wants her privtecy

  • lol

  • Not unusual for Qantas to have another grandma flight attendent

  • @kaiballa It's Virgin Blue, and I don't think she is a grandma

  • SO HARDCORE!

  • Umm wheres the engine?!! Shouldn't it be ON the wing.. Lol just sayin

  • lol she cracked a smile at first

  • thats just stupid, you should be allowed to video becuase what if video evidence caught something before take off and the annoying hostess said "sir, please put your cam corder away" and a clue to how the plane exploded was lost due to the annoying stuck up hostess, i will video what i want where want bitch

  • The Coast D: LOL i live there amazing airport Cooly is!

  • On a dubbo to sydney flight, the hostess was being assessed- by a senior hostess using texts in flight. PS not too keen on nicknames being used by staff- mega bogan.

  • Took her long enough to notice - he could have assembled a bomb in that time

  • THIS VIDEO JUST CHANGE MY LIFE 5 STARS FOR YOU....WAIT THERE IS NO MORE STARS, TOO BAD FOR YOU

  • Cool story bro?

  • She is hot , what airlines is that?

  • @georgelewis Virgin Australia (Formally Virgin Blue)

  • @JLPandRMM thanks.....

  • Filming on a plane isn't allowed? Is it a state secret that "your seat cushion can be used as a flotation device in the event of a water landing"?

  • @toolmkr1 You are kidding right.......Why would anyone with a brain not know that a cushion could float??? Not much of a state secret really......

  • I personally would not want to be filmed without my consent or knowledge.

People are too "obtrusive" with their camcorders and cameras these days. Privacy please.

  • lol busted!

  • captian beiber lmao 00:58

  • what airport was this?

  • No regulation prohibits the video recording of the safety demonstration.

  • @Mxsmanic Unless you're using your phone's camera.

  • Captain Maddy Beaver! HAHAHAHA

  • @mikel2187 lol what a cool name

  • I fuck flight attendant before

  • hey! you were on a Boeing 737-800, i can tell by the winglets

  • @jaffacake1578

Or it could be a 737-700,800,900. Any of the Next generation 737's

  • @jaffacake1578 its not just the 800 that have that type if winglet the 700 have that to and the 900

  • @nathanfishing3000 yes i know, but they are that size on the 737-800 and also look at how long the flaps are and the size of the fairings

  • lol last second ...

  • i like those flight attendants better than American ones. they're so much more helpful XP

  • Comment removed

  • was that it fucking lame

  • Loser !

  • FRONTIER ARLINES!!

  • Haha on this flight from to Chicago from Tokyo, there was these really loud Chinese family behind me, and the kids were yelling and kicking the back of my seat, while the parents were yelling and telling them to stop. This went on for like, an hour until other passengers got really annoyed and complained to one of the stewards.

They got the pwning of their life XD

  • for those about to watch, it's the last 5 seconds of thie video.

  • @EskimoChild169 thanks

  • @EskimoChild169 Thank you lol

  • @EskimoChild169 Thank you for letting me know.

  • @DarthBarkerSithLord yes, because i said that specifically just for you(:

  • @EskimoChild169 Thank you!

  • Why are you filming a take-off...

  • hey man what'd you use to record that?

  • @lazer300 I'm guessing a camera. Don't call me on that, though, I'm not an expert.

  • @TheIncredibleD1701 I was just wondering about the camera coz the quality, clarity, color, etc is great...

  • When I saw this title I wondered what she had caught you doing. I thought perhaps you were... having a moment of self-pleasure...

  • qantas?

  • that was 2:22 minutes of my life I will never get back.

  • @rmaday2 well thats your problem

  • is this guy stupid he could cause the airplanes power to go out and they would all die

  • @1234mrmuffinman If a airplanes power goes out, no one is going to die.

  • wich airlines is this?

  • I normally wait until the flight attendants sit down for takeoff, then i grab my cam and start filming.

  • @HamdhanA330 Mate, grow up, they don't tell you not to do this shit for fun, its so incase it uses any radio signals it doesnt interfere with the take-off equipment.

  • @G3org3Master Thats what i normally do, but with known airliners like Emirates and Kenya airways, i film, the flightattendants pass by and all they ask is "would you like something to drink?"

  • She' like "not again...loseeerss!"

  • skip to 2:19 for when she tells him not to record ( in a way )

  • Thats Adelaide yeah?

  • They should put a sign on the Wing,"SEXY ARENT I"

  • virgin blue cabin crew are so mean.

  • what airline and airport is that?

  • @awesomedude181 That would be virgin blue in adelaide (YPAD)

  • Why film the wing of a plane instead of a hot flight attendant?

    Amirite, people???

  • If you where going to waste people time with this stupid video, you could of at least film the part where the plane is about to take off.

And thank you so much for wasting 2 mins and 22 secs of my life u ass!

  • wht airline

    ?

  • They make you shut electronics off but in reality the planes electronics are so well sheilded anymore that its damn near impossible for them to get messed up by passengers cell phones and such.... mythbusters even had a cellphone signal at 40x the normal streingth not affect the plane at all.

  • @frosty9595 yh i know and the reason for that is so thT THE AIRLINES get money off you by selling "Special" phones at exstortionate prices =(

  • Once there was a lady messing with a camera when we were about to take off. I told her all electronics had to be off and she was like, "Even cameras!?" I'm glad she turned it off though lol.

  • That is row 20 with virgin blue on a 737 800

  • I want 2:22 minutes of my life back plus 15 seconds to write this comment... waste of time geek.

  • that is gran canaria looks similar and familliar

  • @lolguymilne virgin blue maybe?

  • is that stansted

  • @hitlersinmyhouse Thats australia. hense all the Qantas aircraft

  • haha ur filming hot hostess

  • Pilots name Maddy Beaver??

  • @thehater72 Its ironic that his brother Harry Beaver is kindof a dick.

  • Now phones and PSP's are allowed in almost all airlines. lol

  • She's running from the law or was told not to ever be filmed by anyone from her jealous husband.

  • what airline is that????

  • I love that feeling when the plane is moving back. FREEDOM!
